Make sure you stop by Whales Tale if on this trip and try some of their homemade cannoli, they're the best you can get in this planet!
We make the trip sometimes just for that reason. My wife continually asks when can we get out there to indulge, and they dont do a bad job on their cappuccino selection ither, thats my department.

Thank you for your beautiful outline. We've been to the island a number of times, but this upcoming trip we are planning on bringing our bikes. You pointed a number of terrific spots to stop at on our journey. All we need is nice weather!

I have a home on Shelter Island and would love some new bike friends. I like to do 40-50 miles on a weekend day--not super early. Anywone interested?
