I live 8 blocks away from the Fair Lawn Parkway strip-mall, and I remember all the stores from there. One time, there were these 3 guys bitch-slappign a girl right in front of my eyes. Another time, there were these 3 black guys in a Chevy Avalanche breaking into the store. Amd the best sight was when Amanda Bartels waved at me! And of course, you an get good pizza at Cousin Vinnie's and good Chinese at Hong Kong! Damn, I love that strip-mall!!!!!

That doesn't sound very good. I remember Sam's candy shop and fountain. Me and my buddy, once we learned to ride bikes, would go there and with a quarter between us would get all candy and gum that we could stand plus the older Sam would make us what he called a cherry wood water at the fountain. Also the mall had a Foodtown supermarket, at least to us it was big, a barber shop and lots of other stuff. It was like a local Garden State Plaza to us.
Of course we had "evil" crime on Fair Lawn Pkwy back in the olden days too. When we first moved there, someone painted the most prominent "No Parking" sign on Fair Lawn Pkwy to read "No Barking". Such were those days.
