So, the soul of the GOP has gone over to the 'dark side.'

Ms. Scozzafava told the Watertown Daily Times that Siena Research Institute poll numbers show her too far behind to catch up - and she lacks enough money to spend on advertising in the last three days to make a difference.

Mr. Owens has support from 36 percent of likely voters in the poll, with Mr. Hoffman garnering 35 percent support. Ms. Scozzafava has support from 20 percent of those polled.

Good Bye!

Scozzafava is so liberal this may actually help the Democrat more than the conservative Republican.

But three cheers to her for at least giving the Republicans a chance to win this seat.

Mr_Bill,

How did one of your postings get over in the elite column to the right of the screen?

I thought only the lib moderators could put a topic in that preferred position.

With her out, Hoffman should win. It's a traditionally red district anyway.

There is this myth in lib land that conservatism is dead and sooner or later everyone must be loyal Obamatrons.

But I think Obama and Pelosi's radicalism is scaring average voters - both conservatives and moderates.

Conservatives deserve a strong voice in government. It will return, but not until the radical right is relegated to their rightful righteous relicdom.

You act like there is a difference between the parties when in all acuality there is not. Scozzafava was endorsed by ACORN/SEIU, supported the stimulus package, abortion, the government run healthcare option, and the extension of the Patriot Act (as Obama extended it). Now the Democrat canidate was also supported and endorsed by ACORN/SEIU, and supports the same thing as Scozzafava. So where is the difference? There is not one. The only difference was the "D" or "R". Hoffman is going to win this and it will strike more conservative canidates to step up tot eh plate. It is no longer about the "D" or "R" after their name. It is about substance.

Notice as of yesterday, Scozzafava has dropped her campaign and has supported the Democrat canidate. See, goes to show there is no difference between the parties.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Aries

How you feel about your values and how your associates feel may not mesh too well today; avoid conversations about morals and scruples. Of course, you could be a politician or a religious worker, in which case you may be tiring of your own rhetoric. It's hard to be good all the time, especially when everyone else seems to be having a jolly time being bad.
