center street market

Have any of you been in center street market? omg,, Are you kidding me!!! The prices are beyond CRAZY! Please people some one in Sabinal OPEN a GROCERY sore. PLEASE PLEASE. I realize having a store in a little town, we would pay a little more money then if we went to heb or wal mart but damn.
If really thought for one time this town would come together and take a stand together i would honestly start one. But i know no one will take a stand so i guess i will just join everyone else and come on here and gripe about it but at the same time do nothing.. I STILL THINK IT ISN'T RIGHT !!! If you agree with me plaese say so ... so i know im not alone...

If feel the same way, every time I go in there I feel like I just been robbed. Does anyone know who owns that places? Because who ever owns that store is making a killing.

yeah you people are better off buying your groceries either in Hondo or Uvalde..cause you are just making him even more wealthier when you go and pay 3 dollars for a dozen of eggs...when you can buy them for a dollar elsewhere...

it"s just another quick mart they cant compete with the big stores costs eat them upshiping is exspensive if you ever had a smallbusiness you cant buy items as cheap as the big stores sell them to you its a store if you need a dozen eggs u get them there because gas will make up the difference so stock up in uvalde or hondo and if you forget one item you can go there. thats the facts of life the big stores cant make a big enough profit here to have a store. and you cant blame them.

If you go and look in that store you will notice that alot of the brands are from wal-mart or heb or the dollar tree. They are going to the bigger stores and buying the stuff then sticking it to us. So i guess you think that is fair or right??. I realizae they need to make a profit but come on don't mark the stuff up 200%. That is WRONG WRONG WRONG !!! And by the way to the others that agree with me. I learned my lesson I will NEVER shop there again i am NOT donated to anyone that wants to rob me like that. I sure hope alot of others do the same. This way maybe they will come down some on the prices.

as far as this last quote, our troops are over there fighting insurgents and terrorist and ppl who hate the unites states so that the afgani people can lead normal healthy lives. And you want to stereotype one here in the US and send him back about 50 years?
From what i've heard, sabinal came very close to opening either a walmart or heb right there in town several years back but because of restrictions it never passed (could this have something to do with the stonemason temple behind the Sabinal Grill where the wealthiest ppl join together in purple masks and have sex with each to reach a spiritual euphoria)). People wanted to keep the small town "small". so instead of wining about prices think about it economically. If instead of going to walmart and HEB, we purchase our groceries from the local stores this will increase the demand hence the supply will go up and maybe someone will venture out and reopen the Super S we used to have. This will lead to the demonopolization of social capita and then sir and ma'am maybe you can buy your eggs for $1.00 but remember that the city council will still tax the crap out of it so lets say its $1.50 (stupid republican hypocrites!)

we need to start a interest group to bring a heb or walmart to sabinal at least a survey to see if feasible with all the tourist and hunter traffic i don't see why not. people put a bug in the councils ears they should be doing this and the chamber of commerce too. this won't hurt local business only help instead of everyone automatically going to uvalde because they can't get what they want here and would be more favorable for people heading to tourist spots turning to 127 instead of 90 also retired people from utopia vanderpool would come because of kerrviles traffic.
