I have one question does he live in the city limits or in utopia texas I thought you had to live close to your Job site cause if someone was to need him would we have to wait one hour and are we going to have to pay his coming to work or going home everyday I think we need to look into that cause then we will have to pay more for water, sewage, trash,Lp gas.

ok, the chief lives here and there but didnt we have trouble with the last chief so is it the chief or the mayor that needs to be looked at closer? Its too early to really say anything about the chief unless he is really taking advantage of the town but i don't think the chief would do that from the start. lets hope not. What about the majyor has he improved

Before you write about something, you do not know much about, look into city policies and you would find the driving time is 30mins from the city if you live out side of it.

I, myself would like to know why he was willing to move 1850 miles to be the chief not knowing how much he was going to get paid. What is he hinding or running from. You would think that he would get paid more in a larger town in MT. Something smells really fishy about this guy. If you are so interested in info try asking the new chief or is that to hard for you to do? I hear he is very friendly and easy to talk with and will share any information about his move you would like to know.

Ex PD wrote: <quoted text>He is not a T.C.L.E.O.S.E. licensed TX Peace Officer. He can not call himself a Chief of Police. He can only be referred to as a Police Administrator. He has 180 days to complete the TX Peace Officer exam for State Licensing. He has no more arrest power then any private citizen. He can not perform police duty without being under the constant supervision of a real police officer. He can not even review criminal records. I guess you know more about our new chief than TCLEOSE, as I have learned by asking the right people and not making false statements, he is TCLEOSE certified by transfer from another state and taking the TX state exam and passing.

Obviously, the cops were on break. Otherwise they would have been in their office at the shell. Heaven forbid they patrol the neighborhood I know they don't in the area close to the Catholic church and the schools and IF they do its a quick drive at DAYtime.
