I just hope the council and idiot mayor we have reads this.....you all are a piece of work...two tax hikes in one year......UNREAL.......I can't wait till next year when it comes time for election...the reason there isn't many businesses is because people like hamburg and blanchet can't leave them alone...God forbid trying to develope Beverly Hills.....This City Has Become A JOKE....
I'm glad Johnny Beatsch cried like a little pussy till he got his firehouse....now wait till that building you call a school asks for another tax hike....It's coming...If hamburg runs again I'll laugh my ass off...I never thought Speier would be sucked into this....Virgil....well hell you ain't got no backbone.....Thats one thing this council has going for it...You all are spineless bloodsuckers....you too Ron "Otis Cambell" Beartch....and as for Robisch....ah the hell with it...he's so used to getting blasted by the citizens....

do you even live in this city? well i do and i can tell you that the city did need that new firehouse. i dont want my home to burn down while im waiting for another city's department to respond. as far as the tax, get over it..... the average home in southgate is valued at what $100,000 what the hell is $54 dollars a year? for most people its a carton of smokes or one tank of gas. We could all smoke a little less and conserve gas a little more and you wouldnt even notice. i think the city council does a fine job, and i supported the firehouse and the school, i have 3 children that attend there and it is a wonderful school.

Does this mean you will be running for council? We could really use some one new with some fresh ideas.

I was on council a couple years back but left due to heart problems...I'm better now but you couldn't pay me enough to sit next to 5 other back stabbers and a mayor who has No Clue about what he is doing to those people on fixed incomes...the apartments on Moock road is going to turn into a mess that Newport got rid of a few years back...I have a business in southgate that I will be moving Jan 1....The taxes are killing this city...next year you will probably see a tax increase due to a growing school....A few years back, the fire department bought a new fire truck that they knew wouldn't fit into the present location...hence a new fire house that we will be paying for for years to come....God forbid trying to develope Beverly Hills....Hell I'd put a high rise hotel up there and one day put a casino in there...It's only a matter of time before Kentucky legalizes gambling....But for now this city is bleeding out of all orfices...I'd be looking into combining with a neiboring city like Wilder or Highland Heights....now you can trash me all you want, but the writing is on the wall....Revive this city and eat some pride....I love our city sign,,,,Welcome to southgate,,city of friendly homes....
