There is always two sides to a story and both parties are concerned about there own interest. However, when there are children involved you can not just listen to anybody and throw children out on the street with no place to go. There are several options that could have been considered. One, if the tenant has not met the requirements of the lease then a simple modification to the agreement could be made giving different methods of payment. Throwing innocent children/babies on to the street with nowhere to live that is heartless. No matter what the circumstances are there is no excuse for the actions taken by this landlord with an eviction of just a couple of days. Children had just been registered into Rutledge schools. This landlord knew of the financial situation of this family. It takes time to move even more time when you have to find a place that will take 3 children when you have no finances as this landlord also fired the tenant as well. So, you have taken the income away and the roof over their heads. Maybe this landlord doesn't have children maybe she doesn't know what it is like to have nothing and be homeless with three children. Wow, this is so cruel.

maybe, the owner got tired of them laying on their azz and doing nothing but run the road, they should have been thinking about their kids,, thats their job

maybe the owner was tired of squatters, tired of them laying around and doing nothing,but run the roads,, they should have thought about their kids wellbeing and not depended on everybody else,, and as far as no where to go,, if they hadn't used up everyone including family they might have a place to lay down,,

There may be "two sides" but there is only one truth. The state of TN requires a 30 day notice, written notice, delivered by certified mail. It takes at least a month to ensure every avenue to reach tenant has been exhausted, therefore buying said "dead beat" the first sixty days. Then, you must wait for a court date; anywhere from fifteen to ninety days. After the court date, the "deadbeat" has another ten days to get his/her junk moved OUT! Nine times out of ten, they never show for court, they leave a horrendous mess, that the owner has to pay to get cleaned up.

I did not take you or your kids to raise, cry somewhere else. You're already on food stamps, WIC, AFDC, SSI, housing assistance (either partial or full), here's a dollar call someone who cares. DEADBEATS, far too many with the idea the world owes you anything. I do what the law requires, IMO, far too lenient, but do it I am bound. You'd better bet your sweet ass I'll kick you to the curb and as quickly as I can. You try being late on my rent, five days, you're given notice and you can "TAKE THAT TO THE BANK", no excuses, EVER!

The landlord is not responsible for the children. If they end up without a home, it's the fault of their parents. We have raised an entire generation that feels they are "entitled" to whatever they want or need. Why should this landlord and his dependents have to do with less just to keep up another family of freeloaders? Landlord fired the tenant....sounds like the "tenant" is a lazy bum who doesn't want to work, pay his bills, and cares little for his family. Let the State take custody of the kids, and let the adults live under a bridge somewhere until they decide to pay their bills. They are not entitled to anything they don't work for and earn. No one paid my bills, and no one was responsible for my kids but me. I worked, paid my own bills, did without cigarettes, cable TV, and a lot of other things so my family would have what they needed. These people are due noting more!

well this is what i heard the landlord gave them 3 days to move. which is bull shit they have kids which is by law is 90 days. an they both worked they didnt run the roads. if they went any were its was to store an to his aunts.so i see it like this if u dont know them both personaly then u shouldnt say shit about them.maybe one or the other but lot of u dont know both.

Assuming the landlord followed the law, held the court dates, and literally followed the lease and law by the letter, then they could have said, you have 3 hours to get out... Once the time limits set by the court have expired, the landlord has absolute control over how fast they need to vacate the property. I have no sympathy, is it sad? YES! Does it happen every day? YES! Is it fair for the landlord to have to fight for the money they are owed? NO!...

I have rented many places before, and every time, I have had great relationships with my land lord... If i got behind, and it has happened, we worked it out. It costs them more money to evict, than it does to make arrangements to get paid... Also, as long as i have been renting, I have always had a great relationship with my land lord. I am sure that if i quit paying, they wouldn't be as nice, but then who's fault would that be?

If you are so worried about this family you should let them move in with you. This would take care of the whole problem. Oh wait, you are one of those people that get on topix and cry but never help the situation. So what's worse the landlord giving them three days to get out or you knowing that they have kids living on the street and you not opening your door for them?

If you don't pay your cable bill do they leave it on because u have kids?NO If you don't pay your electric bill do they leave it on because u have kids?NO These deadbeat parents need to start taking care of there family's....bottom line...Its no ones fault but there's.How stupid can u be to try to blame it on the landlord.When u screw all the land lords in the area, where are u going to rent then?Because no one will rent to you...It will be a cold winter living out of a washer box.

Sounds like ppl on Whitt lane in bean station that's supposed to pay rent where they rented a house.They didnt pay much of any rent the whole time they've been there (2yrs).The owner wants them to get out,he sent them a registered letter,he had to get a warrant for them to go to court this week.The house used to look good but they tore up the whole house,and bull dozed all the lawn that used to be so green.They left trash piles all over the place,even on the land someone else had for sale!! The county had to make them clean it up. They also stole power which they got caught for doing and the electric company didn't do anything about it.What do you think about over 15 dogs?? Pit bulls,chicuahas,you name it they have it. The man is too LAZY to work so he works just enough so he can get an income check.To beat it all they have food stamps,tenn care and who knows what else! Thats what i call down right STUPID.What does everyone else think about this?

Ive lived in bean -town all my life 28 yers and never once heard of whitt lane. i think somebody is just stirring up shit. if there isa whitt lane in bean-station tell me where it is? i would like to go look at the place just to see for myselve if this is ture.

its behind industrial park.have leaved on white head lane for a long time its the road to the right from it.there house does look like this have seen it for myself plenty of times.they are not friendly people have heard about them not good people
