I thought the Russell family on Rock Haven road were the biggest drug dealers in our county and nothing has been done since their couple of times being arrested

The news reported tonight that these two were not arrested and that half of the things stated about them were false. I don't know them, do not know if they are guilty or innocent, but seems to me that the Sheriff has been crowing a little too much. The younger of the two was on the news tonight saying that they were not arrested, there was like $500.00 found in the house, not $8,000.00 and the children taken, were not in danger. He may be telling lies himself, but why would he get on the news to state this, when it is a simple matter of looking at the arrest report.

What this tells me is the Sheriff's Department is reporting things to the news that are not true. Why would they do this? I think to make themselves look good, but that is just my opinion. If these 2 were dealing drugs, I hope they get everything that is coming to them. However, if the Sheriff is making false news reports, I hope he gets what is coming to him also. There are too many drug dealers out there to be lieing about a few. Bust them all and really make yourself look good. Guess that is too much like work.

I am in no way defending them. However, it would seem that the people charged with the crimes are not the only one telling lies. Why would our Sheriff's Department say they were arrested, when they were not? Why would the Sheriff's Department report to the news media that there were thousands of dollars found, when it was really $500.00? All I am saying is we are not getting the full story and why would the Sheriff's Department lie, if not to make themselves look better. If they were selling drugs, I hope they are all locked up until moss grows from their backsides, but we all know that is not going to happen.

Here is the story, it wasn't just the "sheriff", it was the TBI and SWAT; all local news stations and news papers reporting the same father and son team, Mullins and two other men, showing up later. Also, Channel 8 news quoted the Mullins, regarding the children, the older Mullins called the 18 month old child an "infant". Yeah, sounds 'bout right to me! If the law has arrested the wrong people, those people will be rich. You can't make this crap up just for the fun of it. Once again, never cease to be amazed at the level of stupidity!

Also, I find it simply amazing that you "tree" and your partner in the side car/sled, have so much time to discuss the welfare, or lack thereof, of the fine people in Grainger County. Do you ever WORK? Maybe if you had a real JOB, you wouldn't be on this forum day in and day out, fifty weeks out of the year. I'm sick and tired of keeping up a bunch of damned dead beats, like you two. You're obviously not in law enforcement, and again, obviously you don't have the necessary education to be in the field, why don't you go "pick a mater"? Sounds like the most apropos field for you and HER!

Shut your hole Grainger Teacher. I would like to see you follow me or the Queen for one day. You wouldn't need to be rocked to sleep that night. Just how many screen names can your imagination provide? Just think, a person claiming to be a teacher using the name FUBAR. Do you know what it means, or did you hear it in passing and decide to use it? Do you kiss your momma with that mouth?

Remember, pick the mater and put it in the basket. Don't give the farmer any of your lip either.

I do so love to be right, just to say, no BOZO, wrong again!!! I am not Grainger Teacher, but she is one fine person. I realize your education is very limited, your response always contains nothing but school yard BS. Why yes, I know exactly what FUBAR means, that's why I use it when I addressed YOUR post. Why? Because you are FUBAR! As for the different names I use, lmao (know what that one means too), sorry; wrong again! I haven't posted here or anywhere in months. As I told you earlier, all intelligent life, posting HERE, is not the same person. Try as you might, we will never be. Impossible, but we all are pretty smart, the three of "us" I have ran into, RIGHT HERE!

Final thought, I don't "pick maters", not that there's a thing wrong with it. I decided to get an EDUCATION and hire people to do that kind of thing for me. I can see you are quite familiar with the job, speaks volumes. Please, in future post, do not brush my mother's name over your filthy screen. She is deceased and NONE of your FUCKING business, got it?

Almost a distraction, key word almost! I notice you completely avoided the facts I posted. Shooting down your lies about the sheriff. Does that not make you feel like an absolute fool? The facts????? So easily obtainable, yet...hicks like you want to spread the lies, like wildfire, without so much as a thought, to the families or the CHILDREN!

What lie did I spread, you idiot? I stated what I saw on channel 8 news at 6pm. Fact is, if I said the sky was blue, you would claim it to be red. You are the same person that has posted under many names, Grainger Teacher being just one of the many. Having an education does not stop you from being an idiot, it makes you a larger one in my opinion. They taught you how read and write, but no one taught you how to apply your knowledge to get along in the world. That mother of yours should have taught you some manners also. I am sure she would be proud of you now. That is sarcasm, in case you didn't get it. You think yourself superior once again, but you are not worth the dirt on my boots. Do us all a favor and get a life to go along with your fine education.

By the way smartass, TBI and SWAT teams don't usually release any information to the press. That is usually done by your crowing sheriff. So you tell us, why was information that was not true released to the media in Knoxville?

And another thing, I do pick maters, my own. I also pick corn, beans, squash and a few other things. I also till the garden, plant those vegetables and tend them. I have many jobs. Sometimes you might even catch me in the kitchen canning them. What is it you do again, besides run your pie hole? You come on down in the spring and I will put you to work. Bring a basket and leave the attitude at home. I think your first job will start in the compost heap. You should be acustomed to the smell of BS by now, you spout off enough of it.

The Queen has worked very hard all her life. I know, because I'm her.
I've worked with a headache, a toothache, a bellyache, a backache, and a heartache.
I still work, though I've been 'laid low' by age and disease (not in that order), but I still work at maintaining our several properties, automobiles, farm equipment, tools and weapons.
I do not sit on my butt in front of my computer all day. I work.

did it ever occur to any of you people that our sheriff is doing the best he can?these so called big drug dealers are getting arrested and by passing sessions court arent they if it is federal.give him the credit due..you set there and badger him like a dog when he understands the corruption in this county and is trying to make a difference.I went to the office of Rhonda Reagan and got a warrant when HARVILLE was sheriff and he refused to serve it after i paid $114 for it.his reasoning was this county already has too many lawsuits now i'm not adding to it get real people you could have bufford pusser for sheriff and all he could do is knock em over the head with his big stick and then get throwed in jail himself because of the high and mighty.tell me this-how high do you think the drug ring in this place runs?i will support Scott Layel because he is arresting drug dealers with the outside help that he sees he has to have and if you can say that he plays with the drug gang for what he can get you are fools.I support any agency that will come to this town and help our sheriff do his job cause he does need all he can get and he will be one of the first to admit it

Understand this now, I pointed out the LIES you told in post #2, this thread. Everything you posted, other than the source of your post, was/is a lie. That's all you and your partner, loud mouthed, fake quee& do, EVER! I have only so much tolerance for bull shit in a week and I've almost reached my limit in less than twenty four hours. If you think the sheriff is doing such a bad job, help him out. You and she both constantly boast of all your weapons, and your skill at using them, hahahahahahaha, get off your dead ass and on your dying feet and DO IT! Yeah, I know..........I won't be holding my breath.

Fake queer, I pity any and everyone that has worked with you, they'll need hazard pay, because you are one of the most disgusting pieces of human flesh I have ever been exposed to....and that is from long distance!

FYI, I do not need your permission to do anything, "queer" and a fake one at that, you'd love to be in that position, never gonna happen. You're not the only one that has worked their entire life, so shut that one down. Some of us worked smarter and harder, when we were younger, to be able to enjoy ourselves on the back side of the mountain. Now, come on and try to pick this apart, but be damn positive you'll be woman enough to finish it. You started the name calling, now suck on that a while!

All, I have to say is thank God that the children don't have to live like that anymore. It is so sad that there is so many more children living through this but still yet nothing is being done about it. I will say I'm glad Mr. Layel, is doing his job right. I don't believe for one second that this is a lie! Both of these people had to be doing drugs and dealing them. But, the funny thing is why was the other two men let go, if they pulled up why the raiding went down? If, you ask me that sounds a-little bit odd! They just got one of those guys just over a month ago for dealing drugs himself, so why didn't he have to do jail time? Or, did he? I'm sure both of the men will be out of jail be for Christmas! Un-less they are trailed in a different county, or by a different judge, beside mouse. I hope they are gaven the eletric chair for doing those children the why they did them. This makes me so sick, to know any parent out in the world could do this to any child.

Great job Scott Layel, I'm very happy your catching all these druggies, drug dealer, etc. Plus, I so glad that you have made sure that DCS does there job also, because if you hadn't made sure they came the moment this went down then more thing likely they would not done anything, because they never do. I smell a Rat around somewhere, and whomever, that rat is, I'm just glad you did what you did, or else these dealers would still be running free. It's just a shame that Scott's, doing his job right but the judge keeps throwing all them right back out on the street.

I fail to understand you people. Yes, it is good that dealers are busted. But, is it good when these said dealers were reported arrested and WERE NOT? Is it good when the police report false news to the media? If you read the second report, it says that the men were NOT arrested, they have the papers to prove this. The large amount of money the police said they took, was not large. Once again, papers to prove this. Last of all, the drugs that were found were their prescription medications. Nothing can be done to them other than child neglect, if they can even make that charge stick. Channel 8 news said they had tried to contact Sheriff Layle, but calls were not returned by him. His officers stated to the reporter that they were not allowed to appear on camera, only the Sheriff could do that. Drugs are running rampid and we need clean busts that will stand up in court, not halfass crap that will get the county sued.

I am in no way defending the people that were arrested. I realize they are most likly guilty as sin. However, I am not going to pat Layle on the back and say good work for a shotty job. These people will walk away from this, and we will be lucky if they do not sue the county. I for one want to know the WHOLE STORY. We have Grainger County Sheriff's Department's story, we have the story of those arresrted. I say the truth lays somewhere in the middle and needs to be told. Channel 8 says they saw the police reports and the Mullins man was telling the truth about not being arrested and the drugs and money found in the home.

Are you people so ready to praise a Sheriff that has lied to the people that elected him? You all know I have never been a supporter of his. Even if I had been, this is not justice. Justice is making a case against a guilty person cleanly and honestly. This was neither of those things.
