Probably doing his job. He can't be everywhere all the time. Are you mildly retarded?

I went to the Washburn forum and read up on what was going on. It seems that the girls inolved with beating a 15 year old half to death, have been accused of being bullies for some time now and the school system has done nothing about it. There will be a fund raiser on the mountain for the girl this weekend, I urge you to turn out and support her. She is still in the hospital in critical condition. You can read the news reports and comments of concerned parents under the Washburn forums. Many kids and former students from both county high schools are speaking out with claims of being bullied. Some are wondering where the SRO officer was, as well as where the teachers were during this fight that lasted several minutes.

Thinker, it only takes a little common sense to see that he was not doing his job too well, if there is a 15 year old in critical condition.

I urge all parents to turn out for the next school board meeting. The subject of bullies, should be addressed. This could have been your child, if you have one in high school. I also ask that anyone who can, show up and support this girl and her family this weekend. This is a terrible thing to happen to any child at school.

You may want to revise your statements on the girl's condition. Some are "wondering" and some are trying to stir up something that isn't there. Bullying has been addressed and plans are in place. However, an "ambush" is just that. The SRO and teachers got there as quickly as anyone could. Just another example of trying to stir up mass panic like you people did back during the supposed "bomb" scare. You people over there need to grow up!

The teachers were just watching they never even tried to break it up, so you thinker need to stop stirring in shit, you thinker, are no better than anyone else that is putting their nose where it doesn't belong. It is all parents right to know what goes on in the schools, unless ofcourse they child is on homebound. In case you didn't know it took 2 hours before they even called this girl that got beaten almost to death to let them know what had happened.

Were you there? I am reapeating what was said by those who were and the interview published from the student and parent, and from others that are there everyday. You are just another fine example of one of those that will defend the system at any cost. I do not know the girl's condition today. But, I do know that this will be with her for life. What plans have been put into place concerning Bullying? Sweep it under the rug for as long as possible? Thats an old plan, its been happening for years now.

As a matter of fact, I was there. My knowledge is not second hand, like yours. You bet your nosey nose there is a plan in place for bullying, and the staff followed it to the letter. Things happen that can't be taken care of ahead of time. This was in isolated incident, not something that goes on often. People like you make matters worse by blowing things out of proportion. Yes, it was a big incident, but it was, and is being handled properly.

My my, you seem to be everywhere. According to parents of kids and kids in Washburn, this is NOT an isolated incident. It is something that is more common place than you would have us believe. You want us to take your word, when there are about 20 people posting the opposite in the Washburn forum? I think not, Scooter. Tell us, do your arms ever tire from sweeping everything under the rug? These girls were known to be bullies, so how could they not have seen this coming? People like me,do not swallow all the BS we are fed. People like me,call BS when when we see and hear it. The FACT remains that a 15 year old girl was beaten and sent to the hospital by at least 3 known bullies. There isn't much to blow out of proportion. I do not know if teachers watched, I do not know where the SRO was, but I DO KNOW, enough was not done. The proof is laying in a UT Hospital bed.

Nice try there "scooter". May want recheck some of your misinformation. You are spreading untruths, but that's what you do best, and most often.

they removed the fb page because the girl was being threatened herself for standing up against the incident.

Alright, I will correct the untruth, that was not intentional. She has been released from the hospital now. My other opinions, I will stand by. When a 15 year old is beaten so badly they have to be hospitalized, there is SOMETHING wrong in that school.

And Thinker believes, or would have us believe, that there is no problem.

Someone started a new one. I hope people will go there and show support of this young girl. Maybe it will also let bullies know that this will no longer be tolerated. One person can not stand up alone and win, but when many stand up against this it will not continue. Share the FB page with others. Don't let what happened to this girl happen to another kid.
