Trashman if you are the owner of a company and are pulling the plug on it then you as a businessman have failed. You can not blame it on North Adams, Barrett, or MoCA. My suggestion is to stop embarrassing yourself and the company that you have as your failure is nothing more then a direct result of your management. Unfortunately there are too many bad business people in this City who really do not know how to operate successfully.
There is no intention of pulling the plug on a business, oh foolish one. We are deciding whether or not to expand further in North Adams or move. That conversation is ongoing with several other business owners. We're tired of the less than supportive atmosphere. Factually, revenue has increased exponentially, but 24 years with Barrett and the overall community have made it impossible to attract skilled labor. So, the next time I drive by in the Mercedes, I'll toot, and you can run out and pump my gas.

To take a quote from Mark Twain and modify it: "It ain't BS if you've done it or are about to do it."

Watch the newspapers, John. Watch the newspapers.

And a BIG, wet one on the lips for you too! And a hug to go with it. My confidence in what's about to happen versus your fear that I'm pulling your leg. Time will tell which one of us is BSing who. If you knew me, you'd know that I am deadly serious. Say "hi" to John.

So as a Barrett supporter you think everyone who is supporting Alcombright doesn't know what they are talking about or have any valuable opinions. That sounds very much like JBIII himself notice I did not lump all supporters into one catagory because there are some valuable people supporting JBIII and if they give their input to Dick Alcombright he will use that information for the good of North Adams and give credit as to where the idea originally came from.
