More respect for the police

Why are so many people disrespectful of the Holden Police? I wish they would teach more respect in the Schools, especially the highschool. We have a hard job, and need the help of the town. I don't know wher the mistrust has come from, but it seems to be getting worse. Some of those highschool kids need to be emcarcerated for a day, and see if that teaches them.

Respect has to be earned. the police are arrogant, they lie, steal, many are troubled with alcohlism. None of those are virtuous qualities that inspire respect. Many trample the civil rights of individuals. But, I forgot, we're aren't living In a free country anymore.

There was a trooper c guy in the convenience store one day (last summer), and I was waiting in line, and I soon realized the guy apparently hadn't taken a shower for a couple of days. The smell turned my stomach. You'd think someone would have told him. The kids used to call them Pigs. Now I see why.

There seems to be an over abundance of police in Holden. Wonder how they keep them all busy?
