Why is it that every "Entertainer" who gets Rich and Famous thinks they are an authority on Politics and how the United States of America should be run? Bruce just go play your Guitar. We aren't interested in what you think about the Government. It didn't matter in the 60's what the Musicians thought and it still doesn't matter now.
Because thats the "cool" thing to do these days. After all, they do it on MTV which is the epitome of cool.

Wow, what an educated response. Exactly what I expect from a right-winger and his high-school GED education.

You, Sir, don't know what you are talking about. If you don't believe in free enterprise and the right for every American to stake his claim, go vote democrat and get double your food stamp allocation and make me pay for your welfare because you don't make enough money at your **** job. Only the poor are democrats, and you, sir, are poor. Must suck being you!

Thank God for Bruce Springsteen! We NEED people to stand up and speak their mind and give the country a reality check. We NEED a reminder that we are a government OF (meaning the goverment is US, the citizens), FOR the people and BY the people, not OVER the people, as W and his cronies would prefer you to believe. And if these people who remind us what our country and government mean happen to be singers, songwriters, painters or ditchdiggers, each and every one of them has not only the RIGHT to speak their minds and be heard, they also have the OBLIGATION to do so. You, however, Mr. Blows or Mr. Stretch, have the right to throw your head in the sand and not listen to him or anyone else who doesn't blindly follow your leader. And if you do, that's ok...he, I, and others like us, will still be here to defend you when you finally wise up and start screaming at the injustice that's been done to you.

Wow, you sure can twist a story, cant you, Geppetto? We support our family no matter what, don't we? We also support our country no matter what, but I guess you don't. Why don't you tell those families that lost soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, they died in vain. Why dont you tell everyone that we can't torture terrorist for our own safety. Something you and Shitsteen don't realize is that we are living in a different time now, and we have to adjust. Go and sell you unamerican garbage somewhere else, you nipple!
So was the bother of the Unabomber a hero or a villan?

Here was a blood thirsty terrorist (Ted Kazynksky) blowing up innocent Americans. His brother had the choice of supporting his family or reporting the bomber.

So what you mean to say is that the brother of a killer is wrong if he reports him to the authorities? And had it been your father who got killed by one of the bombs, you would have commended the brother for keeping silent? Supporting his family no matter what?

The legitimate and recognized government of the 13 colonies was the British crown. They waged war against rebels. So the founders, by your logic, were not patriots becuase they didn't support George III?

The redcoats tortured rebels - whome they considered terrorists - to save their country. And you agree with that?

Well, be as un-American as you like. In a free country, you can.

But I'll take freedom anyday!

Why don't you just go to Russia, where people blindly obey the government. You'd be happy there.

The above post is almost Springsteen-like in its irony. Count this Republican as a long time fan who still has Greetings from Asbury Park on vinyl.
Asbury Park on vinyl?

"Greetings." I see all the Republican posters here have been "Blinded By The Right". Ain't it a pity. They never were "Wild and Innocent" and definately not "Born To Run". They live in the "Darkness", near a dirty "River" (polluted by republicans), probably somewhere near "Nebraska". Oh, they were "Born in the USA, but they're not team players. It's because they have "Tunnel" vision, and lack that special "Human Touch". They're not from "Lucky Town"s, and they're quite "Ghost"ly. Perhaps after "The Rising" of their Messiah, they'll go join the "Devils & Dust". "We Shall Overcome", because when old man McCain loses this election, it will be "Magic"al. Good "Night" Republican losers!!!!!

Wow, that has to be one of the stupidest, most ignorant comments I've ever read. You know absolutely nothing about Bruce or his background. And Bruce never speaks bad about his country, only his President, who has authorized torture, illegal wiretaps, and suspension of the right to an attorney, all in violation of the Constitution. It's pretty obvious you didn't listen to what Bruce said last night on 60 Minutes.
Yeah, that creep of a president is doing all those bad things to people that had the balls to kill three thousand American office workers and their rescuers. People that want you dead for being American. Remember, they have attacked this country under liberal and conservative presidents.
So, why not give POWs the right to an attorney.. or listen in on suspected terrorists. You can listen in on my phone all day if you think Im a terrorist.
Lets see how much you will be able to speak your mind on a forum of any kind when the radicals take over. It cant happen. On sept 10 the..did you think planes would hit the towers and other locations on our soil?

right, The Kennedy's, Clinton's, Suozzi's, all are liberal democrats driving Rav 4's?

Basically, Bruce Springsteen puts on a great 3 hour show with music that many people relate to about working, growing up, and survival. if you don't like it, don't go to the show, but my guess is if you saw him live, you'd understand the attraction!
