I wouldn't pay one dime to see this bleeding heart liberal speak bad of our country, our president, and our way of life. He was on 60 minutes last night, and he was right when he said that people may see him as Unamerican. He hasn't a clue as to what it was or is like being an blue collar worker. He is an old fart with a never before seen ego.

If he was a real liberal democrat, he would have no real possessions, drive a Toyota RAV4 with a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker and looking for hand-outs from the government!

Wow, that has to be one of the stupidest, most ignorant comments I've ever read. You know absolutely nothing about Bruce or his background. And Bruce never speaks bad about his country, only his President, who has authorized torture, illegal wiretaps, and suspension of the right to an attorney, all in violation of the Constitution. It's pretty obvious you didn't listen to what Bruce said last night on 60 Minutes.

I dont care what he had to say - he's said plenty already. I couldn't afford a bag of peanuts at one of his concerts - forget the ticket price...he's about as far removed from his original fans as the Andromeda Galaxy is to the Earth..

You can't afford tickets or peanuts yet you'll keep supporting Bush and the GOP and their "No Billionaires Left Behind" policy. Keep voting against your economic interests, real bright. Oh right, you saw an extra sawbuck in your paycheck when Bush enacted his famous "Tax cuts." Then he finances an endless, unnecessary war with Chinese money and leaves future generations to pay for it. What a failure.
But the TOP 2% wealthy elite? They're laughing their way back to the Gilded Age. And the peasants in the Red States vote for them!

Is it me, or does his bottom teeth stick out further than his top teeth? He looks like he had a stroke and can't talk right.

How is a rock concert at Giants Stadium news?!

The man, in fact, was playing to his home crowd. In NJ Springsteen could f @rt into the mic for three hours and they'd still love him.

Slow day at Newsday. That's for sure.

You make the frightening, fatal and very un-American assumption that you must love your government to love your country.

Banning people from speaking out against the government is what they do in Iran, Russia and Cuba.

The Founding Fathers were put down for being liberals who were unpatriotic against the crown.

If you were living in the time of our revolution, you would have hated them and accused them or being unpatriotic.

Say what you want about Springsteen. But stop hating your country!

I feel sorry for you.You must watch Lawrence Welk, or like Mitch Miller. Concerts of this nature is intended for fun and enjoyment. When I lived in NY, I so looked forward to seeing Bruce with my girlfriend who eventually became my wife, and we would go to Giants Stadium, or what is now the Izod Arena, tailgate with a whole bunch of people and have a great time. And you konw, if people think he is un-american..so what!!
He actually is a great American who have touched the lives of many people.
Apparantley not you however.

Wow, you sure can twist a story, cant you, Geppetto? We support our family no matter what, don't we? We also support our country no matter what, but I guess you don't. Why don't you tell those families that lost soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, they died in vain. Why dont you tell everyone that we can't torture terrorist for our own safety. Something you and Shitsteen don't realize is that we are living in a different time now, and we have to adjust. Go and sell you unamerican garbage somewhere else, you nipple!

Why is it that every "Entertainer" who gets Rich and Famous thinks they are an authority on Politics and how the United States of America should be run? Bruce just go play your Guitar. We aren't interested in what you think about the Government. It didn't matter in the 60's what the Musicians thought and it still doesn't matter now.

The above post is almost Springsteen-like in its irony. Count this Republican as a long time fan who still has Greetings from Asbury Park on vinyl.

"Greetings." I see all the Republican posters here have been "Blinded By The Right". Ain't it a pity. They never were "Wild and Innocent" and definately not "Born To Run". They live in the "Darkness", near a dirty "River" (polluted by republicans), probably somewhere near "Nebraska". Oh, they were "Born in the USA, but they're not team players. It's because they have "Tunnel" vision, and lack that special "Human Touch". They're not from "Lucky Town"s, and they're quite "Ghost"ly. Perhaps after "The Rising" of their Messiah, they'll go join the "Devils & Dust". "We Shall Overcome", because when old man McCain loses this election, it will be "Magic"al. Good "Night" Republican losers!!!!!
