Just received a cache of scores from Ricordi in Milan w/the music of Sylvano Bussotti. Signor Bussotti is part of my Newark/Naples, Italy project, and LaScala has commissioned several opera's by him. The NY Philharmonis did the US Premiere of one of his orchestral works and the City of Florence celebrated his 75th birthday in 2008.
It would be fabulous to have a US Premiere of some of his Music, Dances or Ballets at NJPAC as well. Mr. Bussotti and I have spent several years corresponding and he was in NYC for a Guggenheim Museum tribute when we first met.

Several months ago, I relocated to Montcalir because The Montclair
Times has often featured my work. We have found other venues like
Osteria Giotto, and Watchung Books that have sponsored book signings
and readings as well.
More recently in 2012, I worked on Art/Walk at the Paterson Museum,
Lectured @ Lambert Castle, and produced a new SACCO project for a full
house at the Italian-Amercan Museum in NYC. SACCO can be seen on You
Tube via IAM.org/SACCO .
We also produced a guest recital by Harpist Aideen O'Donnnell in the
1868 Landmark Tavern in April. This was a long held goal of mine to
present Ms. O'Donnell there and the audience and mangement enjoyed her
In the archives we found a copy of the Madison Square Garden program
of the Paterson Strikers from June 7, 1913. My book "organized
labor" that reflects on the 1913 strike in Paterson and the history of
labor in is set for full production in 2013 in Paterson, Montclair and
But we need to raise money for general operating expenses and our New
Production Fund. Can't you help us ?

While I have devoted most of my life to producing Award-winning work Off -Boadfway, Icould not let slip awkward article on Newark as The Met's dumping ground PLEASE this wasn't worth all the news fit to print. Actually Newark has an illustrious Opera history from the retirement home of Maria Jeritza, to Beverly Sills in NORMA, Magda Olivero in TOSCA, and farewell recital's by Roberta Peters, Franco Corelli, and Sills.
When Marilyn Horne lived in Orange she sang a concert performance with Henry Lewis of PRINCE IGOR. The Times could have lobbied for an Historic Site of Jeritza's still standing estate as she frequented he Opera a Symphony Hall in Newark, as did Giovanni Martinelli, and even Imelda Marcos. Alfredo Silipigni devoted most of his career o the Opera in Newark a well.
How about a feature on the glories of Newark's cultural heritage ? I give historic tours for individuals and groups. Perhaps The Times could come along as well ?
ArtsPRunlimited, Inc. sponsors the tours.
Join us anytime for $25.00 Per Person for the 2 hour version, or pay on the day for $35.00. We will supply refreshments as part of the walking tour which is most interesting and enlightening for all. We'll skip the garbage dumps and railroad yards, sorry.

I was fortunate to have seen the Irish Premiere of Seamus Heaney's THE CURE AT TROY in Galway, Ireland.
This was an innovative
production with actors cast from both sides of the border. The agonies of Troy were certainly felt in the divided state of Ireland then and would still resonate in our world today. Still the production was a peace offering for both sides to communicate and end the suffering as well. Heaney's published script is beautifully published in conjunction with the premiere.
