Former Vice President Al Gore addressed a crowd at the end of the final concert in New Jersey saying, "put all of this energy in your heart and help us solve the climate crisis.".... Gore then boarded his private jet where he burned a thousand gallons of jet fuel while flying home to his palacial estate. Freakin' hypocrits make me want to puke.

Oh yeah, one more hypocrit, Madonna. Madonna has millions of dollars invested in some of the least environmentally friendy companies on this planet - Alcoa, Ingersoll Rand, Weyerhaeuser, and several others associated with oil exploration, digging, and refining including British Petroleum, Schlumberger (a chief competitor of Halliburton), Devon Energy, Peabody Energy, Emerson Electric, Kimberly Clark and Weatherford International.

What the hell has made him "Captain Planet"? Do we still even know for sure that global warming is real? Could be, sure, but who really knows.

Stop arguing and just change it.....

Oooo, that would be the smart thing to do...

Who cares who delivers the message.

It was true 30 years ago....and it is true now...

STOP IT!

Pollution is a problem....and if the morons that brought it up 30 years ago actually DID something about it.....

we wouldn't be in this situation now...

30 years ago....YOUNG people wanted to change the world...

BUT, they didn't they became part of it....

INSTEAD.

The next generation, coming up.....should pick up the ball and run with it.

DON'T sell out and become your parents....

Make a difference....

CHANGE the world...for the better.

It's ironic that the Headline is "Live Earth ends on 'high' note".

That's what you seem to be - high.

Apparently this person is an age/parent bigot. As only the young can change the world. What's funny about this is every election the 18-24 age group is always the least likely to vote.

The Baby Boomers dropped the ball...

That's what I meant.

I have a lot of "old" friends that kind of forgot about the planet...hmmm...they were busy raising their families....

They shoiuld have paid more attention to what they were talking about when they were "young"....
