So the bottom line is that this guy volunteered to go and partake in the killing of tens of thousands innocent men, women, and CHILDREN in Irak but we should feel sorry for him because he lost ONLY two - not because of death but because of a marital separtion?

I agree with the above poster .... he should not be allowed near any "kids" let alone visitation rights for his own.

It's already painful to risk your neck in countries like Iraq and Afganistan for years, without your family and friends there to support you and when he's done, he's greeted with this..i really feel sorry for that man, whoever he is, we don't know him, we shouldn't judge anybody because of his job or anything, from what i read he's a caring father, he shouldn't be deprived from his children no matter what

Americans didn't fight for MY freedom. Me and my countrymen told the U.S. to NOT invade Irak. But the Yankees did it anyway by lying about WMD's.

he's a soldier, hellooo, it's his job to fight for his country without question, it's the very thing that gets food on his wife and children's table! Let me ask you something, do you know him? do you personally know him? you know him well enough to know he kills innocent children and civilian? Do you think he want to be there at all? away from his family?
Like one poster said, If it wasn't for soldiers like him, Europe would still be occupied by Nazi Germany
Vets like him is very likely to have undergone serious trauma, trauma can cause mental problems, there are many vets who killed themselves because of trauma, there are vets who went insane or would never be the same again after experiencing war
Maybe the wife couldn't handle it, so instead of caring for him, she left, the problem lies within the wife not the father
