What kind of reporting is this?. Use of words like..." a project engineer says environmental hazards could remain"
leaves the impression it is a specific person making this statement after a thorough anaysis.

If Studies were made, who made them, what company,
what did the studies consist of, who ordered and paid for the study and where is a copy of the findings of the study.

This discussion reminds me of that Simpson episode where Homer becomes union boss.
Tap....remember Carl standing and telling the members at the union meeting : " As you know, our president, Chuckie Fitzhugh, ain't been seen lately. We're all prayin' he'll turn up soon, alive and well. "
And then everyone breaks out in loud laughter.....

Well, Homer does work at a nuclear plant. Which reminds me of one of my favorite lines from season 1, and I'm sure Doc sees this one coming from a mile away.
Mr. Burns has his annual company picnic at his house and as he's greeting the employees he says, "Take your mind off contaminants for a day and have a hot dog."
