Any progress in Lake Land 'Or?

The Lake Land Or Board of Directors is doing everything they can to make home values go up. They have the lowest HOA fees in the Fredericksburg area, while providing the amenities and all that the residents want.

They have talked with realtors, held open houses for realtors and perspective home buyers, while being responsive to the needs of their members.

They have fought the water company over rate hikes and won.

Their main goal seems to be to make Lake Land 'Or and Lake Heritage a great place to live and to keep home values going up.

Don't be concerned, Lake Land 'Or and Lake Heritage is a great place to live.

Thanks, Concerned Citizen. We took a tour the other day and loved what we saw. The only cons we noticed were that some of the roads need work and access to the beach at Lake Heritage near the playground was limited due to some kind of animal feces (maybe duck?) creating a barrier. But we realized that for all that you get, the HOA dues are very reasonable, especially when compared to those of other HOA's in Fredericksburg where you pay more than twice as much and get less than half of the amenities and services that Lake Land 'Or offers. It seems like it will be a good fit for us and we realized that the shopping and dining in Massaponnax isn't that far away. I'm looking forward to going through with our home purchase and moving into the neighborhood.

My family also keeps to our selves. the problem we have are the rude neighbors. Howling dog all night and the guy next door has a tractor type machine that he runs on an average of 20 plus hours a week. The HOA has been NO help with this. We have put our home of nine months on the market.

Guy running a tractor?? Ok, nothing wrong with that. Dogs barking?? What is the hoa going to do for u. Nothing. That isn't there job. If I own a tractor and wish to run it from 8 am till 10 pm everyday. Guess what. I can legally do it. hoa can't tell me to stop. Maybe that explains why they do t help you. They can't. The guy isn't doing anything wrong. Except in your little world it is inconvienent to you. Call the cops. They cant help you either.They will tell u the same.
As for the dog barking. Call the police. It isn't hoa's job to stop a dog barking. It is a disturbing the peace police issue. If the cops won't help you then your out of luck.
Maybe if you pulled you head out of your butt and stopped blaming other people, then maybe you wouldn't look like such a moron.

Live in Landor the guy you complain about keeps his yard in top notch condition and rides the tractor to maintain his lawn. the house you live does nothing to keep up the appearance of the house. You appear to be lazy and must be from a more urbanized area. This is the country what did you expect everyone to be just as lazy. Dont hate on theworking man!
