just wondering what the deal is with the lc poa board regarding their removal of the president. never seem to get the straight scoop on these things.

Lots of drama. One Board member resigned and was replaced. The now ex president wanted to fire the Executive Manager. Those who support him, led by the new board member, impeached her. Now they can't agree on a new president. The Vice President resigned from the Board rather than become president. The secretary resigned from office rather than serve as acting president. They were supposed to appoint another new board member last night to replace the one who resigned, but couldn't agree on anyone, started adding names of people who hadnt even been asked if they wanted to serve, so they adjourned until next Monday night to try and find someone both sides can agree on!

Did any of this involve past pres. Bruce Levy?

I had heard that he was one they were thinking about as replacement but there were others also

Why only removal from the president's position and not total removal from the board? Leaving the fox in the hen house and telling him/her to sit in the corner is laughable. Why doesn't anyone just tell what is really going on? Don't want rumors, just the facts please. There's been too much secrecy, yet this board is supposed to be working for and representing the residents. Why did other board members quit?

It seems the by laws only allow for removal of postion not from board. the replacement is for vice president who resigned. guess he just got feed up. There is alot of private sessions and no one is allowed to know what is going on at all.

They voted to remove the president from office, yet she remains on the board. There is an acting president, acting vice president and an acting secretary. All positions will need to be filled. Again, asking the questions of: why removal of the president and why did others quit??? The owners need to be fully informed but the web site gives no info.

I just wanted to step in for a moment and say....Elect Charles Garnett for Sheriff of Caroline County. We all need this change! Its time to bring community policing back to where it needs to be especially in this date and time.

Sherif lippa deserves to be re-elected. He's updated the technology, received accreditation and is tough on criminals. On the other hand, Spencer lets off the criminals that lippa arrests. Replace Spencer, and his incompetent prosecutors with a tougher CA. We need both a tough sheriff and CA.
