"I know that Brittany Bergez used to be involved in your "puppy mill" operation. She is a monster who has been recently convicted of animal abuse!! There have been several complaints about your breeding practices and your are currently under investigation by several agencies. You know the saying, birds of a feather flock together. I represent a large animal rights group and you have been on our radar for some time.
Selling anything over the internet under false pretenses constitutes wire fraud, punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and 10 years in jail per incident. False pretenses can be painting a distorted picture of how the animals are raised and cared for, misleading veterinary care, falsified paperwork filed with dog registries, falsified paperwork given to the buyer of the puppy, etc.
We have "operatives" who have seen your breeding operation over the last year and there is no doubt in their minds that your dogs are receiving substandard care. That's not hard to fathom when someone is raising 200 dogs at a time for PROFIT only. The laws for animal neglect and cruelty are finally being enforced not so much by the local authorities but by the federal authorities. We work closely with the Federal authorities. People who cause animals to suffer abuse and neglect for personal financial gain deserve to be prosecuted and punished for their crimes against animals.
If someone sold 10 puppies via the internet and made false statements to facilitate the sale and used wire transfers (credit card, paypal, etc) to consummate the deal, then we are talking about 100 years in prison and $100,000 fine just for starters. Our group uses a large group of attornies who work part time pro bono to help us prosecute puppy mills.
The days of small town judges and prosecutors cutting back room deals to keep the negative publicity away from their little community is over! Bob Cooper, TN State AG is involved along with the FBI in a puppy mill case in Tennessee that has been under investigation for three years. Your operation has been reported to Bob Cooper, TN State Attorney General, The Humane Society of the U.S., The USDA, The Federal Trade Commission (false and misleading advertising) and the IRS has been alerted.
Consider yourself warned."
anybody watching the Fairs? I heard they have several mills now.

Chris and Marcy Clark with Tuckasee's Tail Waggin Puppies- Your old friend Brittany Bergez who used to work with your kennel got some jail time for running a puppy mill. You could be next.

This "testimonial" used to be on nmtwebdesigns.com . It was recently removed:

"We have had a ton of compliments on the website. We love it! Thank you so much."

Hey Laura Ghazi at 115 Hawkins Rd. Westmoreland, TN. You took down your cutepuppiesrus.com website and puppyfind.com kicked you off their website because they told me you were under investigation for running a puppy mill.

I think you forgot about this old site:

http://www.geocities.com/laurasbabybichons/

Haven't your lawyers told you about wire fraud- making false claims on the internet about AKC puppies running free in your large yard, filling out falsified paperwork and selling puppies under false pretenses through internet transactions (credit cards and paypal)- Each count of wire fraud is punishable by a $10,000 fine and 10 years in prison. Multiply those numbers by the number of times your have lied about a dogs registry, veterinary care, living conditions, etc and you could get hundreds of years in prison!!!

No more breaks from your local yocal sheriff depts who don't want to take away your livelihood.
The feds are involved and they are coming down HARD on puppy mills!!!!!!!!!!

Your cowardly jihadist punk husband threatned me and said things were going to get nasty-Remember? You were right!!!!!!!!!!
I'll come visit you in prison.

Oh by the way Laura- we have date stamped hard copies of every page of your websites long before you knew you were in trouble for lying. Copies have been forwarded to the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Humane Society. I hear that the FBI is getting involved with your operation and will want to talk to EVERYONE who has had anything to do with your operation (Vets, sheriffs, deputies, etc) The genie is out of the bottle.

Your husband will regret the day he dismissed my wife as an inferior human being.
Remember when he said to me- "Let's discuss this man to man"? In other words, your wife is not worthy of my time. Guess what. That might have been the biggest mistake of his entire life.

From Laura Ghazi's website at

http://www.geocities.com/laurasbabybichons/

"We are proud Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeders near Old Hickory Lake in middle northern Tennessee. We have been breeding dogs for 8 years and take pride in the puppies we raise. We have gone to great lengths to carefully hand-select our Cavaliers to ensure that we produce beautiful puppies that stay within the breed standard. We sell only pet quality puppies and not show puppies as one cannot tell if a pup will be show quality until it is nearly one-year old.

We do not have a kennel as our dogs live in the house with our family. The pups and dogs run in our large yard daily and are well socialized and are raised with our four children."

Over the years we have had so much joy placing our puppies in the right homes and have always been confident that we placed our puppies with the right families." End of quote-

They do have a kennel (if you call a small metal shed a kennel) with almost 100 dogs kept in cages stacked on top of each other and they are not let out to roam in their yard because they would run like hell and never come back. I have been to their house. They have no fence. They live in a small trailer. Are we to believe that Laura and Mr. Ghazi keep 100 dogs in their trailer? Mr. Ghazi comes from a middle eastern cutlure that despises dogs as filth. Guess what- I despise you as filth Mr and Mrs. Ghazi and I hope your cage at the jail is half as bad as what your animals have had to endure you lying low life subhuman scumbags. Maybe they will put Laura in a cell with Patricia Adkisson.

You know what inmates detest more than anything in the world?- Child abusers and dog abusers.
Maybe Mr. Ghazi can find a big boyfriend in the big house.

It's real easy to bust these liars. I looked into the federal wire fraud statutes. They now govern internet sales transactions. In essence, what the law says is that there is a maximum $10,000 fine and 10 years IN PRISON per offense for anyone convicted of selling anything over the internet under false pretenses when using credit cards, paypal or Western Union or any form of electronic fund transfer. Even personal checks count. That's one of the reasons these puppy mills like cash. The other reason is that they can underreport their income to the IRS and that is another serious charge many puppy mills are facing.

False pretenses for Laura Ghazi were:

Claiming her dogs roam in her large yard daily.

Claiming she does not operate a kennel and all her dogs are raised in her house.

Claiming AKC registry after her privileges were revoked.

There are some others like Tuckasee's Tail Waggin Puppies who are on my radar too. Brittamy Bergez used to run that operation- need I say more?

Every dog breeder that sells via the intenet commits wire fraud when they have lied about the living conditions, dog registry, vet care etc to facilitate the sale on the internet and a sales transaction took place between the kennel and the buyer via electronic transfer of funds and the buyer made the transaction in good faith assuming the information online was accurate. This is how we are going to bust the rest of these puppy mills. Forget the local yocal sheriff departments. They are too busy playing checkers and protecting their buddies.

The FTC and the FBI comes down hard on wire fraud.

If anyone is confident that a puppy mill is making false or misleading claims about their kennels, report them to [email protected] The FTC will get the FBI involved. Bob Cooper, TN STate Attorney General, assured me personally that his office was stepping up enforcement of the animal cruelty laws in Tennesee.

Eventually these federal agencies will want to talk to the local small town law enforcement and ask them point blank why they have not enforced the laws governing inhumane treatment of animals in their county. Get ready for egg on your face small law enforcement.

Prosecuting a puppy mill:
Read this "Sam" and his puppy mill friends in and around Westmoreland, TN
Defendants may call their own veterinarians as witnesses to document
prior care, but such testimony can provide sharp contrast to the conditions
underlying the cruelty charges and may actually strengthen the
prosecution’s case.

Other Expert Testimony
Special circumstances may necessitate employing other professionals with
expertise in animal care to help clarify events that transpired or call
defense theories into question. This might include veterinary specialists
such as pathologists or toxicologists. It may also include veterinary
behaviorists or certified applied animal behaviorists to address behavioral
issues. Some animal cruelty cases have used other scientific experts
including DNA specialists, ballistics experts and psychologists. Cases
involving livestock abuse or neglect may benefit from having industryspecific
animal husbandry experts who can address issues regarding commonly
accepted practices that may have been violated or ignored.
The prosecution of an animal cruelty case may also involve participation
of professionals from agencies other than law enforcement or animal care
that may have had to become involved in the response to the animal related
complaint. This may include mental health professionals, child
protective services, adult protective services, domestic violence responders,
healthcare workers, and sanitation and fire professionals. These professionals
may provide added insight into the conditions found at the
scene and their impact on people as well as animals exposed to these
conditions.

Other Community Witnesses
Neighbors and other community members may often know more about
how someone is treating his or her animals than they do about the person.
Testimony regarding a history of public mistreatment may be important
in establishing a pattern of intentional abuse. Other community
members may have had an opportunity to observe the behavior and
treatment of the animals in question, including letter carriers, other
delivery personnel, utility workers, pet sitters, groomers and others.

If you are a dog breeder in Sumner or Macon county, TN and you think you are being watched- you are not paranoid- YOU ARE BEING WATCHED!

I hope someone is watching the FAIRS out of OBION TN. You know it is reported that they now have several mills in other states. MO AR MS KY and TN. When are the 'right' people coming there? Talk to the DA and the vet of the FAIRS? Ask them why after a second arrest and video of their mills and the horror of it and still let them go? Only to set up more mills. One sheriff was quoted as saying he had trouble taking away someone's lifeling. WHAT ABOUT THE LIFELINE OF THESE SUFFERING PUPPIES? WE have asked for help here for 2 yrs. NOTHING yet. I hope you have 'been watching' them too. We are tired of seeing these people WHO HAVE ALREADY BEEN ARRESTED 2 OR 3 TIMES keep getting off. Every time. What is it with the law here? Please you must understand that what has been a mill of 135 puppies may now be 4 times that much. Thanks to DA in OBION CO TN. What now?

Just saw something on Channel 4 nashville cable about a Sumner county vet who was covering up the cameras at the facility so that no one could monitor the Euthanasia that goes on there. Isn't this the same Vet that got his license pulled for sticking a heart stick directly into to the hearts of thousands of dogs an no sedation?

You know what. I can't take this shit anymore. I might get arrested for this but I am heading to Sumner County tomorrow and I am going to kick somebody's ass just for the hell of it. Maybe a little vigilante justice will get somebody's attention. Don't worry- it will be a classic sucker punch. they won't know what or who hit 'em.

Re: Sumner and Macon County, TN

Malfeasance has been defined by appellate courts in other jurisdictions as a wrongful act which the actor has no legal right to do; as any wrongful conduct which affects, interrupts or interferes with the performance of official duty; as an act for which there is no authority or warrant of law; as an act which a person ought not to do; as an act which is wholly wrongful and unlawful; as that which an officer has no authority to do and is positively wrong or unlawful; and as the unjust performance of some act which the party performing it has no right, or has contracted no, to do.
Daugherty v. Ellis, 142 W. Va. 340, 357-8, 97 S.E.2d 33, 42-3 (W. Va. 1956)(internal citations omitted).

The court then went onto use yet another definition, "malfeasance is the doing of an act which an officer had no legal right to do at all and that when an officer, through ignorance, inattention, or malice, does that which he has no legal right to do at all, or acts without any authority whatsoever, or exceeds, ignores, or abuses his powers, he is guilty of malfeasance."

First, malfeasance in office requires an affirmative act or omission (failure to acknowledge and bust a puppy mill when evidence of abuse is overwhelming)- Second, the act must have been done in an official capacity--under the color of office.

Mr Judasprudence I have been working on this way before you came along. All these things have been done. All of them by more than one person. Now after over 2 yrs. all is still the same. Nothing has worked. You seem to know a lot about the laws. All these things have been done, so what now?

I got results when I contacted the Federal Trade Commission, the USDA, and the State Attorney General's office. Maybe you need to send information via an attorney on his letterhead to get a response. I don't know what else to suggest. It just seems like there are a lot or people counting on the local authorities for help and that is just not going to happen. Look at the history.

The Saturday Tennessean Newspaper is full of dogs for sale every weekend. For those of you who are as passionate as I am about busting up puppy mills, follow my lead.

Each Saturday, I call puppy sellers that appear to be in my area code. After a little small talk, I begin asking more specific questions regarding their "registry, lineage, etc. Here is where it gets interesting. Most will give some lame excuse for registering with bogus registries like the ACA or CKC

I don't mind stating unequivocally that I will leave no stone unturned when it comes to striking fear in the hearts of breeders who neglect and abuse their animals.

I ask them where and how their dogs are raised. Many say they just have a few dogs and they are raised in their home when in fact, they are a puppy mill with 100 or more dogs crammed into sheds in small dirty cages. I ask for their address. I then ask them if I can come out and pick a puppy from their selection. IF they hesitate or give any excuse, then I tell them I suspect that they are running a puppy mill and let them know that I am reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission and their county humane society.

Here is the bottom line- most people who advertise week after week, month after month in the local newspaper and/or sites like puppyfind.com are puppy mills. Research has proven me right on this. In spite of their bullshit claims that all their dogs are raised in their warm homes with their loving children, we know that they are lying in most cases. These lying bastards need to be brought to justice for the pain and suffering they cause their animals for the sake of an easy lazy buck.

I am using every venue and medium that I can to get the word out to puppy millers everywhere that they are being watched closely. There are hundreds of us who work day and night to expose these cruel and inhumane animal abusers.

The most effecive way I have found to bust a susupected puppy mill is to file a complaint with the federal trade commission at [email protected] FTC investigates charges of false and misleading advertising.

The FTC and the FBI are also very interested in charges of wire fraud- making false claims about the living conditions of the dogs, the regsitry, the lineage, number of dogs raised, etc. all constitute wire fraud when a sales transaction between buyer and seller is conducted via paypal, moneygrams, credit cards, etc and the buyer bought based on false or intentionally misleading information

Laura Ghazi and her worthless husband, Patricia Adkisson, Brittany Bergez and others know that we mean business. Vets and local law enforcement who have aided and abetted puppy millers by turning a blind eye are being investigated as well for complicity and malfeasance- stay tuned.
