Local man sentenced on felony charge

One defendant was sentenced and one defendant pleaded guilty before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark O'Connor earlier this week.

i don't think it's right for any judge to determine where the defendants serve their tyme....judges should order prison sentences and their job is done IMO and the dept of corrections take it frum there..

the west central whatever place this criminal was sent to IMO was never designed to house prisoners for five year terms, bad enough logan county vehicular homicide inmates are serving soft tyme in the county drunk tanks along with seat-belt ticket and mistomeaner offenders..

it's not fair to the other inmates neither...so the judges need to use better judgement and the state atty general should closely supervise the lOcO kounty goin' onz.....Baby!

umm he is not serving five years there is he serving 6months there and community control(probabtion) for five years. and anyone who does not know what really happened has no place to judge what happened he isnt the one that should be sitting in jail the guy who hit and slammed his girlfriends head into the wall in the one who should be sitting in there and just because his girlfriend didnt press charges he got this...
