Miniature Schnauzer last seen in Esto Heights. If anyone has seen or knows anything about please comment. Her "Mommy" misses her dearly.

I saw a Schnauzer this morning right on Main St. in R.S. It was close to the library. I was working but I went back later to look for her after I saw your post, but didn't see her again. Good luck finding your baby, if you haven't already...

So sorry to hear you lost your dog. I suggest you go to the AKC website and read their suggestions on How to Find a Lost Dog. Very helpful info there.
They usually say the first day is So important And to search hard because they are typically within a one mile radius. When you stop car to call dogs name, be sure to allow a long enough time for dog to get to you once be hears your voice.
By second day that radius you'll need to look in has increased to about 3 miles. So, knock on every door., put up fliers with a good pic and number on it. Most important is get out and look yourself. Get as many to help you as you can. Do a one mile radius grid then after exhausting that go out wider.
A dog will seek water to survive. So be sure to check creek beds and area around water sources. Some lost/found info suggests leaving good out so your dog might smell it, and come to eat. Yes you risk another critter getting the food but your dog will be looking for food too and just might come to a bowl you leave by road. A smell can catch a dogs attention better than a sound too.
Good luck. But if you aren't out looking and looking, then you probably won't see your dog again.
By the way, how did your dog get lost? Don't you keep him on leash when outside? And if not why not? Just curious.

By the way, you did not even give a description of your dog. DUH. Like what color is he? Height? Weight? What name does he answer to?
Are you sure you want to find this dog?

That should say "leave out FOOD" for your dog instead of "good" LOL. Sorry

I sure hope you find your puppy, and for the stupid people on here saying mean things, you need to understand when someone losing their pet, it is just like loosing their baby and maybe she forgot to give a description but most people know what a Schnauzer looks like and most all look the same, and she was probably so worried about it that she wasn't thinking straight. Also for the one asking why she lost her dog? Stop being judgemental. If you don't have anything good to say then don't say anything. I feel sorry for this lady because my puppy which was the same kind of dog, was lost due to another family member letting her out when i wansn't there to watch her and she ended up getting run over but she tried to make it home and we didn't find her until it was too late. We wraped her in my favorite throw/blanket and buried her in the corner of our yard. The only thing is we found out what happen to her but some never find out what happen to their's and it is a horrible feeling not knowing if they are ok. they are just like a child to us and they mind better then a child. So stop judgeing people expecially when they are hurting and hoping to find their beloved puppie.
I sure hope you find your dog. God Bless you!!!
