I have recently been in at Franklins and can say I am done and will never be back. They acted like they didnt even want to work on my truck and I bought it there. This had NEVER happened before. The people didnt even have any knowledge of a vehicle. I think that is kind of bad business. A person buy a new truck that was over 40k and then be basically ignored. In all my years dealing with Franklin Chevrolet this had never happened to me. I can say however it is the LAST time they will have the chance. Their service was always head above but not anymore.

It’s not very nice to call this successful businessman such names as moron.
If he is the person doing their radio commercials for the business I really wish he would say “Toyota” correctly. I will not buy a Toyota until it is pronounced properly! Same thing with the Chevy “Lumina”. The vehicle is called Lumina, NOT Alumina (sounding like aluminum foil!!!!)

my sister bought a car from don franklins in rc and it had been hit hard in the front, but they didnt offer to tell her that and they sold it to her as a new car price, because it was a 09, had trouble with it since she bought it, needless to say they are tired of looking at her right now she is giving them heck about it, and she has threatened to take them to court if they dont give her another car. I had that happen to me 12-15 years ago at a dealership in Campbellsville, I threatened to take them to court over it but it didnt seem to phase them much at all. I talked to a friend that was in the business and he told me to threaten them with calling the company they were representing, in my case it was Ford. I went back in and told them I wouldnt waste my time with an attorney I would just contact Ford motor company and see how much trouble I could cause them that way. Three days later I was given another car, I even made them go to another lot and get a Chevrolet I had been looking at.

I agree with the above statements. FYI car faxes can be run 2 ways one with almost no info that is cheap or the expensive version which goes into more details about the wreck your buying.

dont even tell me about this place .its the nearest thing to nothing i,ve ever seen
we took a 2000 chev there ,they kept it for a week .went to get it(after payin 425.00)
wouldnt even start ,they tryed to jump it wouldnt start even then ,finally after going back in for different thing to start it with ,it finally started .brought it home and it has more problems than ever wiring etc you name it it wont work ,
to say the least it would have been better to rob someone with a gun
now if you want yours to ever run again better try someone that at least has enough knowledge to start a car
wonder how many others can tell their stories on this junk yard and the ones that "work: for them

Like the rest of you as it sounds I have learned my lesson too. I have never had any problem until as of late. I absolutely can not get my vehicle in anymore. I finally did and it sat ALL day without being looked at. That is sooooo ridiculous. I never had any problems getting in and getting fixed, now all I get is the run around. Anyone know what the hell is happened up there? It is a shame because it use to be a good place to go. I will not buy there anymore, I am not buying where I can not get service done.

I went there last year to buy a new car, the price:$26,995.00; I still have the order form. I looked the car up on the Chevy online site, and found the MSRP (including freight and destination charge) to be $24,795.00 for the exact car. I brought the information to them and they told me that since the car was in such high demand they could sell it for more than the MSRP. I went to Northern Illinios and purchased the same car for $24,395.00, plus it had a couple of bonus options: a spare tire, carpeted mats, and a full tank of gas. That's a savings of $2,600.00!! It's a shame we can't get treated better right here at home.

The word at the CofC meeting was he is trying to find a buyer for it. Supposedly in to far on the others that he has bought. It has without a doubt went downhill the last few months.

The main sales person told me tires for life was something implemented by the woman from Somerset and was the biggest waste of time and money. You still have to buy your tires but your buying them through rotating and alignments. If you miss one time they do not honor it. And the schedule they require for that is beyond ridiculous. Plus you have to take the tires of their choosing. Franklin has let the service there go to hell.

I went by today to see about getting in for some repair. Was put off because of a certain person I like working on my vehicle. It is strange to me the put off a paying customer but have to work on their own. That is not right. I'm disgusted to say the least. Like the other post I am fed up. It use to be a real good place to get things dont but not anymore. What has happened.

I have been there several times and they do a great job. Fair, nothing done that isn't needed, explains what it is.
