Russell county school systems really need to start making sure that when they send my daughter to asp(in school detention) that she doesn't have to stare at profound language all over the walls and stuff about killing yourself! She brought home picture the other of whats on the walls and it's honestly makes me sick! The news crews should be checking out that school immediately

My daughter also had to sit in there for a class period! Schools talk about bullying well the real bullies are the principals and whoever else that lets the writing stay on those black walls that they have to stare at!

Then make you kid follow the dress code. If she's in high school, she knows she's not allowed to dress like that at school.

I'm sure your daughter and you as well knew the dress code and when its broken you both also know the punishment. If your really that worried about your daughter seeing what people do in real life either talk to the school and tell them to do some painting or home school her. The fact of the matter is shes going to see stuff like this in her lifetime. deal with it! I see the same crap in school its also all over your desks in classrooms not just asp desks oh and inside my locker first day i read that Chase has a big D*ck! just get over it!
We did know the dress code... But the same day 3 other girls wore leggings also.... And neither of them got in trouble?

You did know the dress code? And chose to ignore it anyway???

Don't whine when you knowingly break a rule and get caught and punished.

But Sally did it too is not a legitimate excuse!

Get the cell camera out and take pictures of the other ones wearing similar clothing at school and then after your child is punished retain a good lawyer and sue the hell out of the county school system in FEDERAL COURT for discrimination and wait for them to settle on the Bowling Green Federal courthouse steps right before the trial is set to begin.

Federal authorities have launched a third civil-rights investigation of Xavier University, merging it with two previous complaints that XU mishandled claims of assault on campus.

The multiple complaints will be joined into one probe by the Education Department’s Office of Civil Rights, which started the first two investigations in December.

In the latest complaint, 2011 XU graduate Caitlin Pinciotti charges that she was assaulted in late 2008. She says the university allowed the student found responsible in a March 2009 campus disciplinary hearing to flout terms of his one-semester suspension.

Pinciotti said Sean Marron, who eventually was acquitted of four criminal charges in October 2011, showed up on campus in violation of the terms of his suspension at least five times and was never punished by then-Dean of Students Luther Smith.

“The message was literally that they didn’t care about the students at Xavier at all,” said Pinciotti, now 22 and a graduate student in Cleveland.“They just cared about making sure that Sean didn’t sue them.”

Xavier would not respond to questions about the complaint and and the OCR declined to provide more details.

The new complaint is the latest development in a string of controversies during the last several years over the way Xavier responds to women who file assault claims.

In some cases, female students say, the administration has used technicalities to allow male students to elude consequences of complaints.

In December, the OCR said it would investigate charges .

And what exactly would be your grounds for discrimination? Last I checked, wearing leggings or not wearing leggings was not in a protected class that would be considered discrimination.

Sometimes, it is just better to learn a lesson and move on in life. Follow the rules and quit worrying about everyone else.
It certainly is the best lesson to teach your children.

Cha ching - now that is grounds for a law suit!
That is very common on college campus. There are many rapes every year - most colleges do all they can to 'handle it on campus' they do not want local police involved - because they do not want the news getting out.
Even much worse when top athletes are involved.
