I went to Dr.Grippe a month or so ago for the first time. I had a tooth that had been killing me or at least thats what it felt like but anyway a few of my friends had told me about him and said he was great so I thought I would give him a try and I was really happy that I did. I'm very hard to numb and he made sure I was before he pulled it and I never felt anything at all but then again that's the whole ideal not to feel anymore pain. I will never forget it that day was so hottttt and I go out and my darn car will not start b/c I left the door half open and ran my battery down (bad battery) I go in and ask to use the phone to call a station to get someone to come up and give me a jump Kathy the lady in the front office go's and tells Dr.Grippe and he comes in the front office keys in his hands and says I will just give ya a jump so the way I see it the man is not only a really good Dentist but a really super nice guy and so is all of his office staff. I had never heard of a Dentist comming out to help someone with car trouble but the funny thing was Dr.Grippe took out the cables and looked at me and said I have never used these and not for sure how but he said "how hard could it be" but he knew what he was doing just like he knew what he was doing when he pulled that tooth for me, because what he did not know was this, I was so scared you could not of drove a penny nail up my azz cause I'm scared to death of Dentist I got hurt over 30yrs ago by one and I've never forgot it, so about going on and on but I just thought it was kind of a cute story.

Yeah I went to Melanie once, she did a root canal and now, I am having to go have an oral sugery to get it fixed. Failed Root canal. Anyways, when she was doing this, she would go from me to the next patient to the next and back to me and so forth. She is very un-professional!! I wouldn't reccomend her to save my life! She is very rough, really acts like she don't give a darn about the person she is performing work on as long as she gets money it doesn't matter if its done right or not. I would recommend Dr. Popplewell or Brian Grippe if you are going around here!
she hate anyone has medical card.

she calls them lazy ppl.

The ones at the place next to family dollar are good. Kyle Stewart pulled one of my wisdom teeth and I didn't feel a thing. The older guy I have heard is great too. I know the female you are talking about and I came out of there crying like a baby one time. She's rough. And speaking of dentist, does anyone know where you can get braces that a medical card will cover?

I went to the above female years ago when she was in with Dr. Henry. I would not recomend her for anyone! She put an x-ray plate in my mouth that was to big. It got stuck and she really cut up the insides of my mouth attempting to remove it.

I like Dr. Popplewell, my husband prefers the father, while my kids and I always saw the son. Only complaint here is it is hard to get an appointment, takes up to two months sometimes. My husband has also seen Dr. Grippe and Dr. Smith, out of these two, he prefers Dr. Smith.

I agree that Brian Grippe is the best in the surrounding counties. I used to go to Poppewell, but he stays so booked up, it takes you a month to get in. I've had teeth pulled and the shots are the worst part, but didnt feel a thing when Dr.Grippe pulled them.

I am older and have been to some of the aforementioned dentists, Melanie, Pop, and Smith. I have not been to Dr. Grippe. Without dropping a bunch of negative around about the others, I will say that I like Dr. Smith as the best I have been to around here. Pulling teeth should not be painful in most cases. Dr. Smith always makes sure that I feel no pain when he pulls a tooth, even giving me more shots as needed.

What I need now is someone who can make me a nice bridge on my upper-side. Who in the county would you recommend to perform this special skill?

As for your bridge since you are already familar with Dr. Smith then that is where I would go I have seen several crowns and bridges that has been made there and everyone seems to be really pleased with them and his work

The best dentist around is Jessica Popplewell. She is in Liberty on Thursday and Friday and Danville on M,T,W, She is great with bridges, porcelens, and kids. They don't even know they get a shot. Lots of people from Russell County go to her.

My husband and I have both been to Melanie several times and have never had a complaint about what she has done. I had two teeth pulled and I didn't feel a thing except the shots I had to have in the roof of my mouth. If you have ever had them they hurt I don't care who gives them to you. I had some baby teeth pulled a long time ago by Dr. Smith and the shots he gave me in the roof of my mouth hurt then too. They aren't fun no matter who gives them to you. Not everyone is going to be pleased with everyone they go to for services that is why there are so may dentist and doctors around. If you don't like them go to another one. People usually dread going to the dentist anyway and it makes it even worse if you have the slightest little pain while your there. Sometimes I think people just need to toughen up.

The young Dr. Popplewell gave me the worst shot I have ever had. I go elsewhere now. His dad was a good shot giver, too bad he doesn't shake the jaw like his dad used to do.
