It will have the prettiest dalmation dog you have ever seen on the Fire Truck this year. We have recently got a pup for our little boy that loves him very much, we have worked with him, so far we have got him to crawl, sit,& bark . We are working on rollin over. Hopefully we will have him ready for the parade. In the future, I hope the chief lets us take him to schools to show the children how to stop, drop&role.

I wish more people would get involved with the parade and have more floats....that is the best part...businesses and schools and even churches don't do it like they used to.

I saw the lead vehicle in the parade, a trash truck with lots of garbage cans on strings being drug behind! How fitting.

Maybe they think we are stupid because they see you. It is people like you who ruin our communities from getting together. This parade is just a little culture in our town that you obviously don't have. So if you don't like it, lump it!

You are right!
We should do it like the BIG Cities - ONLy the big corporate sponsors get involved. Yeah, no sense having something that children, adults, families, churches, etc. can be involved in - something constructive.

Sure, does it mean anything when you get down to it? YES, Community.

It sure is Culture. It is a culture that we and MANY small communities have developed for MANY years. It is our culture.

If you don't enjoy - so be it - stay away.
Why ruin one of the last activities in the area that draw families and groups together. You must feel pretty bad about yourself to want to draw everyone else into your misery.
