Haven't you heard? We are about to go off a fiscal cliff. Interest rates are about to soar, tax increases sky rocket, no jobs, no money.

All of which equals NO business. No new business especially. Many current small business will be going under. People will be lucky to be able to buy food. Which by the way, is in short supply according to the UN.

Keep up with what's going on and get real. There's a reason Hostess is closing it's doors and companies all over are laying off or closing their doors. Thank you DemocoRats, that hope and change really is changing things...for the worst!

Health care that's controlled by the IRS telling you IF you will be able to get care. Not. But no health care, no surgeries approved sure helps with controlling the population which was the real goal all along.

Look how government run Fema is taking care of the Sandy victims. Can't wait until they're in charge of whether you're allowed to see a doctor or not. That should work out just as good. Still no power where Sandy hit.

Forward = Backwards. Get used to it.

Hostess is filing bankruptcy for the second time in 10 yrs. because of poor management, nothing else. Did you feel this way when they filed the first time and George W. Bush was in office? Probably not. And if the CEO'S of all companies would act responsibly and take some of those millions they salt away in the Cayman Islands or Swiss bank accounts and re=invest in healthcare for their employee's, who, after all is said and done, are the ones making that money for the companies, and if insurance companies let common sense rule them instead of greed, then there wouldn't be any need for intervention, now, would there. Fema does not control the power companies; at best they can offer help in getting things cleaned up to where the Power companies can get in to do their thing. Oh, and the IRS does not nor will be, in control of healthcare. Go to factcheck.org to get the details. YOU educate YOURSELF.

Interstate bakeries - hostess is going out of business because of the obscene labor costs and rules that they have had to follow for the last couple decades.
i.e. UNION rules would not allow Twinkies and Wonder bread to be delivered on the same truck - to ensure that There would be more drivers rather than efficient management of the labor.

It is not a simple bankruptcy like the last one. They have closed the doors and are going to sell off their assets.

You mentioned the EVIL corporations and management, a venture capital group did come in last time And save those 18,000 jobs For the last several years. It was their attempt to keep it running for all employees. It was the unions that closed them down.

The IRS, as you say, will not be in charge of healthcare. But the IRS will be in charge of enforcing payments and the text of welfare. It will be part of your annual tax filings to fill out your health care papers.

I am not a fan of union's either, but ultimately it was the mismanagement of the company that caused it's demise. Could management not tell that the union agreement you refer to was not a good business decision? I can't fault the union's for trying to get what they can, but it is management's job during negotiations to decide if the union offer would be a detriment to the economic health of the company.

And I notice that no one mentions the 300% raise the CEO at Hostess assessed himself. I re-iterate; bad management!

obscene labot costs ? The ibs/hostess labor force just voted a 8% wage decrease and reduced pension and health insurance benefits . However that didn't stop CEO Rayburn from getting a 300 % raise with more funding for his golden parachute . As for the wonder bread , I asked tom who is a merchandiser in Somerset about that and he stocks wonder bread as wel as hostess items . He says that might be true in some areas but doesn't think so

Obscene labor costs? they earn less than $20 an hour... what the hell do you class traitors want? why not blame it on the two things that mostly deserves the blame, poor management... marketing, development... and consider this, they are owned by a vulture capitalist conglomerate, like bain capital. they borrow all kinds of money, then extract all the wealth they can for themselves and investors, then blame "unions" when they refuse to take what is a big pay cut to someone making $30,000 a year. I'll tell you what we need Drill Here, is for people like you to stop being a traitor to the laboring class who not only takes the brunt of the financial difficulties, but gets the blame for it to from puppets like you.

Russell County could use a lot of things but they will never be here because our judge, fiscal court and higher powers do not want anything. Case and point. We could have the best "ABC Business" best service, quality, price and everything be 100%, never a complaint. People would STILL drive 150 miles to the same place to have decent to fair service, fair quality, more expense or whatever and leave what's at home. The records speaks for themselves! A good laundry mat would be nice, a place to buy good clothes, a decent place to eat. All these things are needed but the ones elected to serve and provide do not want any progress. The record is clear. As I posted on another forum, I would like to see a progress report on businesses we could have that are needed and how the leaders are working to bring them in. We have no leadership or anyone who understands industry or retail recruitment. If I'm miserably wrong, someone show me.

Teaching Services should go over really well as many parents and schools are failing.
How about starting a service that teaches children (and adults) proper manners and etiquette for normal human interaction in daily life? A few other classes that I feel are really needed in this community are;
1. Real Adults Work For A Living & Donít Steal
2. Welfare & Assistance Are Not A Lifestyle
3. Soap & Water Are Required
4. Manners Are A Good Thing
5. Children Learn From Both Good & Bad Examples Donít be THAT Parent.

Are you actually asking people to make a bit of an effort and even be responsible for themselves and their children?
You my friend, are totally nuts!

Sorry, I have not seen FOXNews for two weeks. That is all just a little bit of research right here on the web.
It is a shame that you have allowed your self to be brainwashed by the union leaders like Trumpka and other media.
If you can dispute any of those facts give it a try.
