they just hired 10 new people this past week and most of them have already quit. so don't know why you haven't been called maybe you should call and ask to speak with Tyler the human resource person. why go thru temp when you stand better chance being hired full time. Good Luck

Alot of them didnt quit..Several ppl were hired through Quality Personnel for the weekend shift, went to work and were told by Bruss HR that after that day of working they were not needed. Apparently the temp agency hired an excess of employees. These ppl didnt even get paid for that day of work or orientation.

you would be better off picking up aluminum cans than fooling with bruss. most new hires never reach 6 months.

I agree, don't waste your time with this place, work is not hard but working for them is torture they treat you like you are a child and don't want to give raises.

I would not work at Bruss if I was starving. That place has ignorant people in management. They are stupid and try to screw over everyone. Get a job there, you will see.

Fixed for you.

By your logic, you should be working there.

Look if someone worked there, even for a few minutes, by law they have to be paid for the time they were on the job. It is illegal to hire someone & then not pay them. IF this actually happened the people who did not get paid need to either sue Bruss or this employment agency. Or both. That would not be a forgivable mistake, it would be against the law! And if that employment agency is in the habit of being that careless, then they need to have them some good insurance. The personnel who did that needs to be fired.

I don't know were you got your information but I can tell you for a fact that I worked there an so did my wife an we both was paid. Quality was the one who paid us too. You may of picked up your information from someone that use to work there that was fired or something, I don't know. I know that Bruss treated me us fair but the office people don't know whats going on out on the floor. Bruss has some of the best people we ever worked with an I've worked at several factories. If they did not have such a turn over rate I would of tried to get on full time over there but there turn over rate is awful worse I ever saw.

Why do people leave from Bruss?

The work is easy and environment is clean. I have worked at Bruss for several years and I see people come and go within days. Management is fair. All they want is for people to come to work and do their jobs.

Any idea why the turnover rate is so high? Other than they can sit at home and draw a check from the government?

When a company hires you; then you need to be there on time and come to work everyday, thats what having a job and being responsible is about, to get up and get to work on time. Bruss may not be the best place to work but its a job, and if you go to work at any factory it will be the same way or worse. I have frinds in other towns who work at factories and its the same or worse. So get over it people; there is no good reason for being 5 minutes late except you don't get your butt out of bed and give yourself enough time in the morning.that is your fault and you need to take responsibility for it; no employee is going to say its ok for you to be late.

Bruss is a cool place to work they are very lenient compared to mmus in campbellsville just people don't understand that a job isn't a when u want it thing if ya wantthe money suck it up do the work and get over it but if u would rather set on ur ass and act like u earn a living every once in a while go ahead but u wont make ur life any better nobody ever puts their place in a bosses shoes its hard dealing whith people who just want a check without earning it. Oh and qaulity personnell in columbia the temp service is the worse place to go ever the let u work for a while then put false abscenses on ur record and terminate ya been there done that and while everyone else makes 8.70 or 8.90 u make 8. Bruss expects the same as every body attendance and labor its not work if don't make something to sell.

Bruss isnt a bad place to work. The only reson peaple down it is becouse they dont wanna do there job so evryone has to be up there rear about it. If you get fired from bruss there is a reson not just they get the nerve to do so. If your to lazy to stand an do work for 8 hours a day on things that kids can do than you need to be put in a hole somewere. They ask for you to come in to work and do your job right, yes everyone makes mastakes but who dosent! Bruss is more leanight than Fruit of the loom is. Yesterday we had a meeting and our starting pay is up to 8.25 an hour, so if you work 40 hours a week then you make 320 before taxes, then you get raises ever how long you stay there. As a machine operator if you have been there 5 years then you can make almost 11 dollers an hour, what more can you ask?

I was told that Bruss was laying some of their full time off. I was then told they was keeping the temps for 90 days and then laying them off. Is any of this true??? My husband and I both would love to try and get a job over there. We moved from Bardstown to Adair to help take care of my Grandmother but my Grandmother is doing so much better and we need to try and find a job so we can move out. I went by the Quality temp service and they acted like they wasn't hiring anymore temps for now. Anyone know how or were I could get a couple applications for Bruss if its not true that they are laying off?
Low Pay

I know it is a job. But really that is a low paying job for a factory. Start pay I mean. And before you get the idea I don't work. I do. I've been with my employer for 9 years. I'm simply making a statement. Russell county is way behind in start up pay. I worked at Cagles exactly 9 years ago and made 8:00 then. At least Fruit of the Loom pays better.
