there is no way in hell that i would look for a baby sitter on topix let along even respond to an ad for one on here! it would be just as stupid as asking some stranger in walmart to hold your kid while you went and tried on a dress. are you people really this stupid?

I have been babysitting a sweet lil boy since he was 8 mos. old & I found out he needed a babysitter on Topix by responding to his mothers topic thread. They are wonderful people & Im sure she could say the same for me. We had never met before that day. Its like anything else. We either use it for bad or we use it for good. Obviously we see what you choose to use it for.

Perhaps you should consider doing house cleaning. You don't have the headache of a child whose unpredictable. You can do the job and leave. And it most likely pays better (with tips if you do an extraordinarily good job). Plus it would most likely take up less of your time.

I need a house cleaner for a really large home. Something to consider if your looking for employment where you can have a constant continuing income.

I haven't yet advertised or sought a cleaning person but I will be needing someone soon..

To "Up For Hire", I'm impressed that a 14 yr old is looking to earn their own way. That's pretty young to be seeking a job of any kind. I admire your moxie!

I'd be willing to speak with you or meet with you and/or your parents for the possibility of employment in helping me clean my home. If of course you'd be interested in doing that type of work. What county are able or willing to in? Just Russell county or would you be willing to work in any surrounding county within a few miles?
. I'd even be willing to provide transportation on the days i need cleaning for the right person.

If your interested please leave some sort of contact info. Or You may want to put an ad in the newspaper, announce on the swap shop your looking for work, or put an ad in the paper.
Good luck. I hope you find employment .

I have not researched the average rate for a house cleaner. Ninety dollars for 6 hours work may be the normal rate for a very good, reliable and trustworthy cleaner. I will do some checking around to see what average pay is.
For just the right person I'd pay a good (or maybe above average) wage as well as probably give tips.

I have audio/video cameras all over inside my house, would you have a problem with that? And do you use any of your own supplies or equipment or just what homeowner provides?
Oh and can you climb a tall ladder to reach very tall areas for dusting?

I would absolutely love to clean for you if your still interested. I'm 20 years old and have done this several times before. I have references if you'd like to speak to them. I had a baby pass away at 7 months old and I'm in need of a job to get myself motivated and back on my feet please if you are interested let me know. Or if anyone else has anything I'd love to do the job!!
