Jamie Blackshire was acquitted by a Cherokee County jury but the District Judge and individual posing as the grand jury foreman have publicly stated they know Blackshire is guilty.
They know he's guilty even though the investigation was botched after the case sat for over two years. Not one bit of evidence was presented at trial because nothing linked Blackshire to the infant's death.
How does it make black people feel that they will never EVER get a fair shake by a District Attorney and judge trying to get their own names' in the paper? Your tax dollars were wasted so a small town judge and DA could champion the death of an innocent child and run a black man through a trial without one shred of evidence.
Hats off to Assistant DA Rachel Patton for at least not fabricating evidence and lying to the jury. The entire trial was an indictment against the Jacksonville Police Department. She won't make that mistake again.
