There aren't two others, are there?

I PERSONALLY think Lt. Johnny Davidson should be nominated for a medal of honor for defending his son, Brandson Davidson, when this low life druggie threatened Brandon's life.

Do I hear a second on that one? Yes, I believe I heard one!

Amen!!

I was under the impression that the father and son played a major role in the illegal defense of the son. I could easily be wrong. That's why I asked.

I'm a little confused about what you mean 'illegal defense' of the son.

Brandon Davidson (the son) had nothing to do with ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED in Dusty Flanagan's office last November.

Unless I'm mistaken, he knew of the threat on his life by this thug, and had taken it to the FBI. If this is not correct, someone, please set me straight.

OK obviously this is where gossip will get you. I heard that the guy threatened Brandon so he and his dad pulled him out of his cell, took him to Dusty's office, where they all beat him down and put him back in his cell. I guess the gossip version just sounds juicier. I should know better by now and apologize for my own gullibility.

I dare say, what you heard is absolutely the ENQUIRER version!!! You know the Henderson Rumormill.....there is NO truth to that what-so-ever.

I hope this clears it up for you, and I hope you find the truth, although a little less exciting, a little more believable.

Have a great Friday

Ive got to stop and re-read the topic. I thought the topic was about our ex-chief deputy. I guess you guys still think its okay that these guys broke the law and beat a "druggie". Correct me if Im wrong, but are not these men you speak of sworn by their oaths to uphold the laws of the State of Texas? Oh I forgot he was just a "druggie" your words not mine. I guess if he had of been a person you were related to it would have been different? Oh yea by the way I don't know this person I only know that both of these former officers of the LAW broke the Law and then tried to cover it up with lies. Stick to the topic former officers I mean, "OST"

He has admiited to wrong! Pleaded guilty! Ok, he is man enough to admit his fault. Now I hope he will discover the good in his life! No doubt, he will go to a federal lock up! Since he is an "X" law enforcement employee, this is better for him. I'm sure he's glad it won't be TDC.

he wasn't man enough to plead guilty. He got brownie points with the system because he plead guilty early. That way he didn't wait to be indicted. He would have gotten a way worse punishment if he would have waited. The evidence is so stacked against him, he had to plea, he would have been crazy to go to a trial.

"Way worse"? Brownie points? Hmmmm, I don't know about that.

I do believe had they not pled guilty, they would have gone to trial. Had they gone to trial, the punishment could have indeed been a larger fine and a longer sentence, or it could have been nothing. It would have been a gamble though.

They haven't gotten anything yet. There has been no sentencing hearing.

I agree what he (Davidson)did was wrong (hitting the guy once in the nose)what the uproar is about is the time they may be sentenced..the time doesn't fit the crime. What would you do if for example a so called "Meth Lab" dealer making and selling drugs to your children or grandchildren and then tells you that he is going to rape your wife, kill your children... you are just going to just sit there and listen? What type of husband or father would not take some type of action? Whether you are an officer wearing a badge or a trash man wearing food particles from the truck...no one deserves that sentenced time because it doesn't fit the crime.
