The owners of staggs think they are so much better then the rest of the people in Rushville, If it wasn't for this town they obviously wouldn't be in business. If they that unhappy then get the hell out. maybe they need to move to carmel or someplace where they think their sh#t don't stink. I hope carol or the other one keep their head down when it rains cuz they may drown from always keeping their nose so high. Just sayin. Does anyone else feel same way. it has for sure changed.

Yeah right, we are going to agree with a ranting idiot as he attempts to trash some of the most generous individuals in Rush County.

oh please just because they appear to be generous they are not. its called publicity 101. when you get to know them you will see they are rude, uncaring and think they above all. when most people know the true them. so wise up mr. softee. let your blinders fly free.

well I have never worked for them sorry. I know the real truth and time will soon tell. enough said. Obviously you are one of the old people in this town that has made it the dull town it has become. You old people need to get a grip. I bet you are a retired old man that wants to hold on to everything in the 40's. its 2011 grandpa. time to move over.

well I too would agree with supreme class. If they like you they like you and if they don't - even if they wait on you they won't show any courtesy towards you.

I do agree that they do lots of fund raisers for the community but the last couple of years their attitude had changed. Maybe it is the ecomony but I don't think supreme class is the only one that feels this way just willing to step out.

I worked at Staggs for many years, both for Paul and Avanell and for Carol and Marsha. They taught me a lot about the customer is always right, treat the customer with respect because the customer pays your salary, etc. They treat their employees as if they are family. Paul always asked me if I had my homework done, and if I didn't, he made me sit down between customers and do it. Now, many years after I have left their employment, I can still count on them for anything and everything I need. They would give me any kind of support that I asked for, and many times I don't even need to ask. YOU WILL NEVER FIND A BETTER, MORE GIVING FAMILY THAN THE STAGGS. Why do you think they have so many days that they contribute to local organization/charities/scholar ships?

What I don't understand is why you think you have to get on a public forum and publically bash someone that does good for the community? If you feel like you have been wronged, then take your business elsewhere. That's what's wrong with people like you. You will never see good in anyone because the world owes you all the attention.

lol obvious you were on the WE LIKE list. good for you. More people are on the WE THINK WE BETTER than you list. They are all old school and trust me you will see some changes real soon in the amount of business they have. There is alot of talk out there about how they have changed. Time will tell. They contribute to local but trust me they take away more than money plus its good promotion on their part... this is last post I am doing. Like I said... time will tell all soon.

I think I'm gonna stop in Stagg's and get me a chocolate milkshake this afternoon.
The sour grapes that supreme class is serving is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.

Supreme Class, your name says it all. It sure sounds like you think that you are better than everyone else. If you don't like the Staggs, please go somewhere else. They are "GOOD PEOPLE". You might have caught one of them in a bad mood but who doesn't have one of those days now and them. I like how you get on this forum and bash someone and when others bash you, you are gone. I hope your gone for good.

Now I will give you that Carol was kind of stuck-up back in the day when she bought and managed the old Oasis Bar there on 2nd street.

Thirty years ago during the Oasis Bar period, Carol was hot to trot; she was one drop-dead good looking gal with a hot bod. Guys were hitting on her non-stop and she was flippin' them off right & left to get rid of them. I don't blame Carol one bit for being rude to those green-teethed slime-ball Rushvillains back in the day - all they wanted was to get in Carol's pants.

With the green-teethed Rushvillains not hitting on her anymore, Carol has mellowed and is a very courteous and likeable gal today.

Oh, Carol was hot 25 years ago. Rushville's horn dogs were hitting on her back then all the time. You would've been too if you hadn't have been in diapers.

Yes but BJ's was formerly the Oasis. Ahh the days when 2nd & 1st streets downtown were full of taverns and drunks. Today they're gone. Carol, though, was pretty hot way back when.

plenty to talk about !!! dont know where to start !!ya the people at staggs have put their foot in their mouth this time for sure !they have made a terrible mistake , oh well they will pay for it eventually.....firing a young girl because someone in town said she had been arrested not convicted mind you, all a bunch of crap ! the young lady is an awesome person and they knew it ! but one person called and said they would not do business there if she was employed at staggs! just wondering if it was a local law enforcement officer ! pretty sure it was , which is totally illegal...he knows who he is...and he and carol should be so ashamed of themselves for putting her through hell !!!! the school is all abuzz if you can imagine terrible terrible judgement on their part! they will get theirs in the end
