Well since there is a shortage of rentals in Rush county they aren't all that cheap. A 2 bedroom apt is going for $400 to $550. A house even more than that. May as well buy one of the many foreclosures around town and pay $200 or even less on some. I personally am looking into buying one one my street to rent out.

That's not always true we have a nice 3 bedroom and pay $500 but we use our own appliances.

My places are very nice actually,i choose to keep my rent low because theres alot of people out there that cant afford high rent, electric and other bills around here. And none of my places are right in town there in the country, big difference in rent prices honestly...people that have homes for rent in town always charge more because people pay for convince!!(example close to all stores, schools and places to eat)...ive had the same renters for years so i must be doing something right.

I currently rent a very nice house in rushville and my landlord furnishes stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, cable tv, and pays my water. They charge more rent because they have very nice places and make repairs within 24 hours. I'm willing to pay more in rent because of all I get in return. They treat me like family. I don't plan on moving for a long time. The $625 a month I pay for rent for my nice 2 bedroom home is well worth it. You get what you pay for!

Yes. We recently moved from a 2 bedroom house where we paid $400 a month to a $600 a month house and you can't even begin to compare the two.
