Why would let your kids go to that nasty ass place? All that place is good for buying drugs or selling them and that nasty ass that runs the place is always trying to get with the young girls giving them free stuff to see there boobs hope it gets shut down so the kids can find better more positive things to do

I too would like to see it gone but if it is I dont think that the kids would find more positive things to do. The kids that go there are going to be trouble no matter where they are. My oppinion is that their parents dont care where they are as long as the kid arent at home bothering them and ruining their high. Its sad I wish there was a good place for kids around here but sadly I dont think that it would get used.

Maybe the parents of Rushville should rally together for a safe clean place for the children to go and have something to do.This town offers nothing. No skating No theater and a pool that works only half the time and yet we wonder why the kids run to a pool hall that has less then a positive environment.

This place is a joke. There wasn't any heat during the winter heard he was using a salamander to heat it which pretty sure that is a fire hazard and should be against health and fire safety regulations. Heard he keeps or used to keep pot in there. Kids have free reign to do whatever. My kid came home from there one night and said a girl had her pants piled down there exposing everything. Is this truly what Rushville wants there especially on main street for everyone to see???!!! When will the city step in and close this nasty eye sore???

Have you reported the violations? The City cannot act without having a violation to go after. And they can't legally have a police officer sit on the place. It takes parents like you to report violations.

Watch out for chris ball and justin wright. If your daughters are under 17, they are always in the pool hall picking up little girls, getting them high, and taking advantage of the situation.

the pool hall is nasty in rushville. tim the guy that owns it lets the kids that go there do anything. there are kids in there that is obviously under age smoking cigarettes and smoking pot. i have only been there twice and i never went back. when i was there there was people in the bathroom having sex smokin pot and drinkin. and the sophers are bad people. their brother michael sopher just got put in prison for 8 years for molesting a 5 yr old and he was always in that place. i think they should shut down the place and never have another pool hall. every pool hall rushville has had always had drug problems and was always nasty.

Lmao Justin Wright moved out of this town like 6 months ago and I've never known him nor Chris ball to ever go to the pool hall! Lmao maybe the parents should look at how the raise their trashy ass kids! Any parent that let's their daughter walk out of the house wearing clothes that scream I'm a slut on them should do nothing but blame themselves for the way their child acts!!

I agree with you, I've never been there but if all those things are really going on..do something about it instead of complaining on here

believe me some people have tried to do something about that place but if r rushville police department and other law officals dont do a thing theres not much we can do and i find it very sad that some of these parents dont care allot of these kids hve been fined for having cigarettes but thats all that has been done and look who gets stuck paying for that the parents while the people who run that place get off scott free and yes there is allot of activities going on there that shouldnt be but until r law officals do anything about nothing can be done until someones child overdoses on drugsand dies as to say all pool halls in rushville were bad they werent people cant control who comes into there establishment the only thing they can control is if that person gets out of hand u asked them to leave this pool hall should be shut down i agree and its sad that everything going there is going on sexual activities drugs smoking drinking i just hope rushville wakes up before someones child winds up dead then who will pay the price the child and its family

So MOM... what are the police suppose to do? If you were a cop what would you do? I know for a fact our local police they have written over a dozen tickets to kids in there. They have went through there numerous time and have NEVER found drugs or alcohol. Theyre hands are tied too. This is not footloose, they cant just ban poolhalls and white trash kid hangouts.

WOW Blah, Seems to me instead of putting Mom on the spot and asking what should be done maybe you should ask our local law inforcement that question since you know so much about what they do, and while your at it maybe you should suggest they start doing their job and give the tickets to the people who deserve them ; not the children the adults that allowing these actions to take place.

The local law enforcement knows what is going on in there. They have questioned some of the ones that used to go there. Nothing is getting done. Hell when u have a place for ur children to go smoke, drink, and have sex as long as they r not on the street with skateboards they don't seem to care what the kids r doing. U can't blame this all on the parents. My kids went there for a short time but r no longer allowed to be there. Thank goodness they never got in any trouble there. So honestly what is it gong to take to close those doors? Obviously sex, drugs, drinking, and underage smoking won't do it, I ask u what will?

Apparently, our local leadership is lacking just that. It starts with the mayor. This is what happens when we elect ineffective politicos who have selfish agendas. We've done it for 30 years!
