this may be a small country town but that may be why they make it. there are a lot of men around here that enjoy hunting and fishing as a past time and they dont always have the time to go to bass pro. my husband alone may keep them in business.

I didn't know a Fields Outdoor Adventure Shop even existed in Rushville!!! I always shop out of town anyway and for sporting goods I shop at Gander Mountain there off of I-65 south at the county line road exit. Like most people here in Rushville, I shop out of town. It's engrained in most of us after all these years, this shopping out of town. Why change a long held habit?

To save gas? To help out your neighbors? To keep your money circulating locally instead of sending it off to some rich corporation?

I think half the counties population has been on probation , and might harbor ill will against him .

Jim - the Pavey gang apparently didn't get the message to you. There is no posting until further notice. Apparently, one of the Pavey Gang got caught with his fingers in the cookie jar.
They've all scattered like scared cockroaches.

I like that we have this shop in town. Unfortunately, I'm "flush" with outdoor gear!
I'll be checking him out for ammo real soon tho.

For public- what the hell are you talkin about?
Nah- never mind- this thread is about something else- leave it be...

Justa Guy,
I think he means that you and your buddies have had silencers placed on your weapons of hatred. No more posting on the Pavey threads.

Most on here thought you were a Pavey bootlicker, since you were coverin' for him the past month. Pavey's Gang was issued a gag order by their leader cause they crossed ethical boundaries. Foolsih.

WHOA THERE HOSS!
I never covered for anybody on here at anytime for any reason or action.
I simply speak [write] my opinion. I did state once or twice that I did not care who takes those political jobs, that none is worse nor better than the others, and that I didn't have anything against [or for] any of them.

Now, I gotta go get my paycheck, so's I can get down to that shop for a large supply of ammunition...

What!? You ain't goin out of town to shop for ammo like everyone else does??? If you're a true blue Rushville person, you shop out of town. What's wrong with you?

Well, you know, I don't like crowds any more. I would really like to go shopping in say, Falmouth, Glenwood, or Raliegh- But they don't have the type and volume of ammo I'll be lookin for.

But it ain't cheap if you stay in Rushville. Every Rushville person I ever seen says, "If it ain't cheap, I ain't buying!" How can you be a real Rushville person if you ain't buying at the cheapest place possible? We Rushville cheapskates gotta stick together.

is it really cheaper if you have to go somewhere else to buy it? Have you ever figured in the hidden cost of the gas? Probably not...

These Rushville people don't care about the cost of gasoline, whether hidden or not. These crazy Rushville people will spend $10 in gasoline to drive to the Greensburg Super Wal-Mart to save 10 cents on a can of beans.

"Lookee here Myrtle, I done saved 10 cents on a can of beans by driving over to that Greensburg Super Wal-Mart! That's highway robbery for Marsh Supermarket to charge 10 cents more for a can of beans. From now on it's Super Wal-Mart!"

That's the type of warped thinking that goes on in Rushville.

Being from shelbyville where the closest thing to a gunshop is a garage. Fields have a very nice well stocked shop.l recently purchased a rifle, rings and scope that i planned on doing at home and they wouldnt here of it,they put it together and boresighted it free.i am happy with both the rifle and the service. Where at the garage you cant get them to call you when you leave your order name and number with them. Keep up the good work fields gang.
