Does anyone know what was going on with the high speed chase through town today and ended on state road 3?

High speed chase, lots of police cars, big accident at CR 300N. Car destroyed. I am guessing we will have to wait a week to read about the rest of it in the paper.

Do you know the type of car? Was it a light blue ACURA, late 90's model? If so I know who it was. He has psychiatric issues and may have went off meds. left Columbus, OH without cell phone and wallet!!! Would've froze to death if he ran out of gas! Sorry if he scared anyone, he honestly probably didn't even know what he was doing. He's hanging on by a thread and in critical status. He would never mean to harm anyone. Straight A engineering student at on a full scholarship set to graduate in June! Please post info if anyone knows, we want to know. Again sorry if he scared anyone, hurt anyone etc.... He would never hurt a fly!! Sorry for putting the officers in danger as well. He will apologize on his own I am sure as long as he makes it!

Scanner Chic, Please see my respone to Gordon's message. It looks like I should've responded to your message. I think he was in Rushville when he rolled his car numerous times. Any info would be appreciated! THX

Hard to really tell the exact make and year, but it did look like an older Honda. Color looked to be light green, but it could have been blue. It was just a quick look, and it was upside down when I saw it.

Just judging by BSMM's post, I'd say that it's the same person. Going by what I heard, the outcome isn't very good. That's all I'll say, for now...

He is doing better every day, and is the kindest most generous person you would ever meet. But still needs prayers. Please don't judge him for his actions, for he truly had no control over them.

Amazing he ran 70 through downtown, running lights and survived. Someone was watching out for him.

It's not just amazing that he survived, but also a lot of innocent people that he could have killed. No wonder when he was asked what his name was he said "Jesus Christ"...

This guy might be a nice guy but if he would have hit or injured a friend/relative I wouldn't have a nice thing to say about him. We all go through tough times in our lives but you have to know how to manage yourself. I've been down before but I never once thought about going 70 mph through a small town and endangering police officers lives. Hope the guy survives but most importantly I hope he never sits behind the wheel of a car.

There was another high speed chase in the city limits lastnight!! They crashed into the front of Memorial Gym! Thank the Lord it wasn't during school hours! If you got info on the reason or the driver let us know.

I heard the woman that ran from the police and crashed into the gym is out of jail. Who let's these people be free to roam the street! Lock her back up she's dangerous!

Yes, she is out of jail. I see her driving around town acting just as happy as can be like nother happened at all. What a shame!
