I have known Tony for a long time. If you are really interested in justice you are trying to crucify the wrong guy. Anyone that knows him personally knows that he does not deserve what the Feds are doing to him. they found a technicality and decided to use him to scare everyone else. He wasn't doing criminal activity, actually he was going by the book. He just didn't have the proper paperwork and that is what this is all about. You aren't going to hear that though because that doesn't sell papers and that makes the Feds look stupid. You may try to ruin his life but I guarantee he was not trying to ruin yours. Shelbyville has a reputation of not wanting businesses and maybe they will get there wishes. Sorry to hear all of this Tony and we are praying for you and your family. YOU ARE GOOD PEOPLE no matter what anyone else believes.

Shelbyville has a reputation of not wanting businesses??? Thats absurd to even say, they are trying to get business and lure business all the time. Why would they not want businesses. I don't see them chasing away Knauf, POK, Ryobi, Oneal and all the other businesses that they offer abatements too. Local, your just an idiot.

Being from shelbyville and living there when this story broke in the shelbyville news and the indy star. It was local wastewater workers that discovered the mess and turned it over. Someone said you don't know all the facts. I know enough facts. Shelbyville workers find the damage, it is traced back to Miller Environmental, this business caused damage, and the owner should pay fines for cleanup and violating the act. Yup, looks like the facts are pretty straight to me.
Who are you? Your nuts idiot. It wasn't workers at the wastewater plant and you know it don't you. Your an idiot You also are probably in on the the whole thing coming down aren't ya?

Nope not in on it, don't live in Shelbyville anymore. Hence the first line of my statement - living there when the story broke. Why not take a look ayt this from the Shelbyville News. Yes it was the Wastewater workers who identified it idiot.

According to Brad Fix, superintendent of the Shelbyville Waste Water Treatment Plant, Miller Environmental Services has been dumping oil products and chemicals into the sanitary sewers from the company’s two Shelbyville sites, one at 1402 S. Miller St., the other at 831 Elston Drive.

On Tuesday, the Shelbyville Board of Works and Public Safety issued a cease-and-desist order prohibiting the company from releasing any pre-treated industrial waste water.

Fix said that a televised scan found evidence of oil build-up in the line near the South Miller Street location.

“We found evidence, and we watched it for a while,” Fix said, adding that anonymous tips also provided information on the illegal releases.

“We found evidence of at least two month’s (of dumping),” Fix said. Oil, he added, had been found in the sanitary sewer lines in 1997 and again earlier this year. He said anonymous callers have reported some larger releases.

That was from the Shelbyville News on Halloween of 2003.

I have known Anthony McCullough for a number of years on a personal basis & know that this is not the kind of thing that he would have ordered or approved of - had these things be done & he had found out he would have fired the culpret & made things as right as possible. This is still America - innocent until proven guilt - right?
