So I've been hearing rumors of our helicopter service in town possibly closing it's doors? Any truth to this and what happens if we've payed our membership?

Who knows, have not seen them fly alot, but it is also that time of year when they can't fly alot. Your membership would still be good, as long as they call Air Evac. If they didn't then you would pay. But I am sure they will be here for awhile as much effort as they have put into being here, they probably aren't ready to fold just yet.

I was told when I got my membership that they are always here for my family. I haven't talked or received a single piece of mail in the last 5 months or so. Not sure if I will renew my membership this summer or not. Weather isn't that bad so we should hear them some I would think. What's new though Rushville can't keep anything around? Time will tell.

Air Evac has a history of milking communities and then moving on when they are dry. That is why their facilities are temporary.

Air Evac will honor your membership, but if the closet facility is in Woodrow, Ohio you may not want to wait. I have heard some negative stories on reimbursement when other services fly you.

It's very sad when you have a membership and your told you can't be flown due to weight. If that's the case then I want my money back and so do my parents. I will use another Hospital/service. Sounds to me like the staff better explain a little better before selling memberships to heavy or tall people. What a lie I was told when I made this purchase.

Hmmmm, well considering who's running that place over there now I bet they won't be in our community long. That's for sure!!!!!

Sad day for my family yesterday. My father got very sick and needed to be flown but guess who was out of service. Does this really surprise Rushville how bad of an idea this is to have someone here we pay for to help sick and they can't follow through. Wow Milroy EMS does better than they do "SAD". Get your heads out of your ass Air Evac and find caring employees/staff. Funny thing was weather was great yesterday.

Could have happened to any company. If it is a recurring issue, then there may be a concern.

Air Evac is a great service for Rushville as long as people are not taken advantage of. Before the crash we would hear it at least 3 or 4 times a week, now I rarely hear it.

Our family was told they were out of service. Sad thing for Rushville, tax payers, and employees. Once again someone has a membership and you can't use it so let's say waste of money again. Please help Rushville!

Please help Rushville? Sorry. There IS no help for Rushville. This town is a dying little community.

I will say one thing, they have caring employees and staff so to say otherwise would be just wrong and I'm not sure I would be comparing Milroy EMS and Air Evac however, where the problem lies is their management. They didn't want this guy at Rush Memorial Hospital because he couldn't do his job there, so what makes you think he will do anything for Air Evac? Sounds like they were out of service for no staff but that's just a guess. How does that happen? When you have issues for not showin up for work at your previous job I wonder what's goin on at Air Evac? The people who bought into the membership program are the people who are suffering from this nonsense!!! I really hope they get that operation fixed over there or I for 1, will not be renewing my membership with them!!

I'm very happy to see someone else cares and sees my point with this BIG issue. I give that crazy base 6 months before we see that trailer move on down the road like it should. Its called RESPECT and I don't see any of that happening so I'm done after my membership is up.

Who in their right mind would want to be air-lifted out of r-ville? I would be afraid the rotors would fall off like they did a few years back. If I still lived there I would take my chances in the car getting me to a good hosp in indy. The hosp is known as a band-aid station & the dr's leave alot to be desired too.

I am from the Greensburg area and my wife is a nurse at Decatur Hospital. She states they come and visit way to much to say we are here and use us first. I have met them once 'not impressed' but they have an employee that needs some help. I mean I wouldn't let him take or touch our dog or cat. The whole time I saw him he talked about his own business which sounded like a joke. Maybe someone needs to tell that fool that's not to be done on the clock. Rushville you have a lot to learn on that old man Hufford. He's putting a knife right in your Air Evac backs business. Good Luck

I know for fact that one pilot tells everyone confidential information about every flight and giving names and conditions. I feel that is wrong. Hippa should apply here too.. he tells everything he knows and that is wrong... by the way its the one that just got married.. spend more time with your wife and less texting people things you should let out of that chopper.... please

Stay safe & take an ambulance or have someone drive you to a decent hospital. Rushville has Dr's from countrys that HARBOR TERRORISTS....& refuse to give patients their heart medications because they had a bit of weed in their system...now that is a TERRORIST...my daughter about died because kassab refused her cardiac drugs due to her having marijuana in her system. She at 30 yrs had a massive heartattack & is now on disability due to her health. dr kassab could have prevented this but because hes a joke he about let her die. jmo

Tell her to quit using illegal drugs. Doctors cannot prescribe drugs to patients who are using illegal drugs.

Sounds to me like your daughter is a drug seeker of some kind. I hope she gets busted and yes anyone has the right not to give pain meds for anything being in your system. Its called common sense. The pilot giving HIPPA info is wrong and should be fired for that. He doesn't work on the patient or anything so he's in the wrong. Take care of that Mr Buckley or are you not smart enough for that process. Sounds like that base has some issues. Pilot, Hufford, and Buckley can we say idiots. Roll that trailer out please they suck. Rushville doesn't need this drama.
