It's a shame rushville has become a known drunk fest. There's good people here, dont let this party ruin the town.

Why do people go to the Indy 500? It is not to watch the race I can tell you.

You people wine and moan cause we dont have anything going on and noone wants to come to Rushville, then you want to cancel (not going to happen lol) something that draws people from all over.

You lost the election, get over it already!

Everyone is not Irish. I do have to agree the community can come together and participate in this big drunk fest, but what about things for the kids , do you suggest we bring them so they can idly sit back and watch their parents get loaded. This town has its priorities screwed up !!!!

This town loves to drink. Drinking is what built Rushville. Its our only reputation other than being a nasty filthy dumpy poor town. Let us drink our beer and leave us alone. Thats our motto.

My kids get the other 364 days out of the year.

We do things such as bowling, hiking, playing ball, free concerts, paticipating in many fundraisers, watch a few movies, enjoying a meal at El Reparo, etc.

You should try enjoying life once in a while, that one night the kids spend with the Grandparents is actually good for them.

Or, you can continue to live a miserable life. Your choice i guess.

Should take the kids to show then this is all got when you live here. The town don't really look bad when you are drunk and the more you drink the better it looks. You get to thinking you are better off than some other town that got good jobs.Where else in this state could you enjoy watching paint dry.

Im just guessing that you must be someone that works year round to make this drunk fest a big event .So please let me inform you this is a farming community not Isish and you can move there and enjoy your heritage year round if you so desire. Stop trying to subject the rest of us to this event.

I'm not Irish... Hell I don't even like the Shanahans. But, the St. Patty's Day party is good time and it benefits good charities. It ain't going away, so shut up.

I am actually an American. Born and raised right here in Rushville. My anscestors may or may not have come from Ireland, I don't know lol.

I do know the celebration is a blast, you should quit being such a sourpuss and enjoylife a little bit.

Are we also "subjecting" you to Christmas? Because not everyone believes lol.
