The state police investigated not the local police. He is being charged because if the evidence they found on his phone and computer. No stretching that. They don't just charge people with a felony with no evidence. Open up your eyes. He hasn't been convicted yet, but he did it.

His a$$ needs put behind bars. Then mabe he can be prayed on like he did the 15 year old girl. As some who is suppost to protect and serve this county is accused of somthing like this he should be in jail. Anyone else who has done it got a one way trip. Tax dollars being well spent. I hate this town! Ive never seen such a big group of stupid no good dirty cops. STEVE DILLON FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

As for comment from 'What?' They dont charge people without evidence, maybe state police dont but think again bout small town ego maniacs. I wish state police would have investigated my childs case instead of local police because believe it or not they do abuse their power and put people in jail on bogus charges without investigating or even making an effort of contacting other people who were supposedly involved. It happens way too often especially in small town USA and the 'good ole boys' of Rushville are truely the cream of the crop!

He should get the max penalty him of all people should of known better Now they need to sit back and of how many people cale has put behind bars for the same crime he has commited. They should put him in the big house where there are guys doing life that truly regret there past and cant see there kids and miss there kids so they can take him off cam and clean his colon real good in the real world people frown on perverts like him and those convicts in the big house dont allow S.O s to live that kind of shyt down the cheif of police in rville would have let this case go and he would have gotten away with it its an offense all the rpd officers have commited. I do not agree with the way rpd up holds the law i mean it took the county 6 mnths to issue a warrent and they knew hes a pervert they let him walk for this long while they are locking people up for public intox and disorderly left and right something is wrong with the system in rush county only the citizen can take a stand against the police in this town and THERE way of running things which we all know is not the right way it all just depends on who you are if they follow correct steps in their investigations i have seen them totally give some people the book on hear say or with no evidence and i have seen them let some walk serious charges that they had everything they need to charge them... for what a little drug bust that is not even worth doing they are letting criminals walk with a few days time served for another whats the point in even having a P.D in rushville if they cant do there own jobs they depend on other criminals to give them there next arrest when they should be following correct steps in which there job calls for just like any other person would do at there job but instead they have what should be a little bit of power that turns to alot of power here with the local boys to abuse and use against people i think a full scale investigation should be launched on the whole force from their dispatch to the cheif and this should be done by an outside source who will do there job right and not cut any of these punks we call officers any kind of slack what so ever and shyt will start to unfold and believe me it will if an investigation gets rolling.

Girly worley/ every citizen should know there rights and the law to an extent and every citizen has the right to stand up for them selves against these public safety officers. 1 st things 1st do not talk to these people they have the power to do what they want and abuse there authority if you dont know what there next move is going to be they will twist things around and you wont even know it till your under arrest when you give them the time of day you might as well have signed over your freedom. That is the way these ole boys in this one horse town work they will do you dirty to get another notch on there belts they dont care about you or your family as long as they make a name for themselves. you have the right not to speak its the 5th Ad use it they cant take it from you. I agree with you 100% an outside source should run an investigation on the law enforcement in rushville and the way they up hold the laws and operate down there at the local police station i have seen enough corrupt out of these "boys " and them doing things the way they want it done and not the way it should be done by law

I haven't seen anywhere state he had sex with this girl. He wasn't charged with having sex with a minor. Other than having her in his car past curfew, what has he done that anyone can prove? If it's one thing I've learned with the justice system, it's not what actually happened that matters, but what can be proven in court. They interviewed this girl and she had the opportunity to give her side of the story. She did and apparently didn't say anything about having sex with him, or he would have been charged with that as well. Just a bunch of plank-eyed saints in Rushville.

I will tell you as a former LEO in a different county that it took so long so they could be thorough in the investigation. Nothing would be worse than rushing through the investigation and him beating the charges. With that said, I can see him pleading out the case in a diversion program and in 5 years, once it is off his record, him moving to another state and becoming a LEO again unfortunately. I don't see how his wife is still with him after this. Wow.
