really a million dollars bail 5000 is more like it they really need to get there head out of thier ass like anyone has that much what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty the judge in this case made a clear statement by that meaning youll never get out of jail innocent or guilty doesnt matter.take a cop beating someone with a flashlight and see him get involuntary manslaughter i hope the judge doesnt ever come home to a burglar and beat them with a flashlight while its dark then they would be innocent really does anyone think in hickville usa.

The person who committed the crime was guilty. He admitted to everything he did. So how is he innocent if he admited to it. It's lucky he was caught when he was. There would have been more victims if he wasn't.

First of all it was Chris Curry (not Carry) who was beat to death. Chris was just turning his life around and this had to happen. The guy who did it, yes I do believe he would do something like that. He was a jealous person and was on very drunk at the time and possible on something too.

If any of you knew Amy, you would hold no sympathy. She was a two-timing lying whore. She has now ruined two lives and thinks nothing of it. She continues to play head games with both families affected by all this. Jeff didn't deny his actions. True. He snapped, not in his right mind after all the head games. He didn't go there intent on harming anyone! He didn't even know Chris was there!! Amy has been engaged to several men since this happened and is now married. She really cared about Chris and Jeff huh? Jeff is a sweet guy. Amy had him mind-screwed for months and pushed his buttons. There was no "argument" at the bar either, large or small. She had called him several times that day, he simply asked what she wanted when she was calling him. Drama Queen Amy couldn't even stay away from Chris' funeral as asked by his family. She dressed like a whore and stood out on the sidewalk screaming until escorted away. Under extreme mental abuse and alcohol, can any of you say for certain how much you could take? What would it take for you to reach your breaking point? Who knows for sure until you're the one in the situation? Many are too quick to condem before knowing the entire story as fact rather than ficton. I would invite you all to the trail to hear the overwhelming evidence before passing judgement soley on jeff. Amy is the one who's actions caused the effect. This is merely an explaination, not justification, yet there is a whole lot more to the story that will come out in the trial. Murder 1 has to have intent. There was no intent here, it wasn't plotted and planned. Manslaughter would be more fitting in this case. We give serial rapists and murderers less time for stalking and killing their victims, so how is murder 1 fitting for this case. Jeff is a victim too in this. The victim of a lying, cheating, mindscrewing whore who knew exactly wwhat she was doing...everybody with a penis!

You should feel sorry for her kids. Amy is a whore who lost custody of them. Obviously you didn't know chris, because you didn't even know his last name.... The only part you got right was how nice Jeff is. He was pushed over the edge and snapped. Period.

wow amy is taking a beating here( no pun intended) exactly what difference does it make if amy did screw 6087 guys? That has NOTHING to do with Jeff crushing the skull of Chris. What jeff did was murder an innocent man, I hope and pray he dies a slow and extremely painful death for his actions. Chris did nothing that quite obviously, several other men have done before him. He did not deserve to die for his actions and stating anything other than that is pure insanity. I dont give a hoot if Jeff was in love with amy or if he was just drunk and heartbroken, he a MURDERER! I pray Chris rest in peace and his family find peace as well.

Wait a minute! I never said Chris deserved what happened. What I said was Jeff had no "intent" to kill him, as the States Atty will try to prove and fail I might ad. I did not say Chris deserved to die. I merely stated, we should all ask ourselves in the right moment, frame of mind, etc, can any of us really say how we would react? Did Jeff take a life, yes. Did he intend to do that? No. He knew he had hit him, but had NO idea he had killed him. The Sheriff even testified to that fact. He is sorry and has shown much remorse. Not that that brings Chris back, but at least it shows who Jeff is and was before getting involved with that whore. he is a very caring, giving, loving person, who now has a lifetime to reflect on his actions. Actions that not only affect him, but his Mother and family, as well as the pain to Chris' family. Yes, may he rest in peace. Also, remember Jeff's Mother, who is also innocent in this matter, before we go wishing another death. All I'm saying is there are many facets to reflect on in this situation and for them to based on fact rather than fiction, and speculation.

Jeff is def a murderer... Love does sucky things to a person... But once again i have to agree here, even tough Amy is STILL a ho, with no remorse.

Thankyou. As I said, I offer no justification, just explaination in the matter. You're right. She has shown NO remorse for ALL the lives her actions have reaked havock on. Her game playing and mindscrewing have messed up so many lives and she thinks nothing of it! Just another day for Amy.... She continues to play games to this day about the whole thing!! I think it is all very very sad. It's certainly something that didn't have to happen and I believe wouldn't have, had Jeff not been under such incredable duress and turmoil by her influence. He at least has life and with such, will have the rest of it to live with and reflect back upon his days with the whore and what she gave him for loving her. Not "happily everafter", rather I screwed you into the hereafter...! Really, it's a pretty sad comentary don't you think?

Yes!!!! A million dollars was out of most peoples reach. Jeff's Mother did sescure funds to bail him out, then the whore went to the States Atty and said Jeff would kil her...so, without even a hearing on the matter, Judge Alisha McMillan revoked bond all together!!! Needless to say, she has been removed as the presiding Judge. We let people who have been convicted on multiple counts of rape, murder, etc. walk on much less bail amounts and lesser charges every day. It has become abundantly clear that the removed Judge and States Atty are trying to sensationalize off of this tragety. All, at the taxpayers of Schuyler County's expense. Our basic format is innocent until proven guilty. Jeff has never been charges or convicted of any crime in his past either. The States Atty has even went so far as to have an iron plate installed in the courtroom floor so he can be chained to the floor during his trial!!!! More expense for the taxpayers, yet the now presiding Judge on the case has not even ruled on the matter. She wants the jury to see him "chained to the floor". To see how "dangerous he is" and have him convicted in their minds before hearing any evidence or testimony!! Yes, I think "hickville mentality" would b severely understating the matter at hand. I still hold fast that the State cannot prove intent to kill. The charge should clearly be Murder 2 or even Manslaughter 1. But, then again maybe "hickville" thinks they don't have to meet the burden of the State Statutes???

No shit, right!!!!!!!!! But, do remember, that was the famous "bufford pusser wannabe" C.D.Bond who made the infamous cover up there with the Susan Bonser case....
