Yes he thinks he owns it

He should get a life

Him and Pollster

Too late he already has

He needs to take a break

Nobody reads his stuff

He should move back to Russia

Ignore him he's crazy

He's an embarrassment to the GOP

He's a tea party pawn

Your poll has closed the door on much of the voting body here because all your choices cast Don in a negative and derogatory light.

What you afraid of?

Don W South (the real one that is) has a lot of valuable insight to offer. It's those who are perpetually spoiling for a fight that lead the conversation into a quagmire, an unending pissing match. Don is not always right, but he's far more often on target than he is dead wrong.

Yes Don does have a lot of valuable insight.

But it seems as though there is so much hatred fomented toward him that individuals minds are just closed off.

I find it unconscionable some of the things many of these individuals support.

One brings up welfare reform, they go nuts!

One brings up out of control spending, they go nuts!

One brings up personal responsibility, they go nuts!

One brings up marriage-child rearing, they go nuts!

One brings up the unaffordable health-care act, they go nuts!

Many of them seem to be some of the most dysfunctional people I have ever experienced!

And if Don has done anything, anything at all. He has exposed this dysfunctional behavour!

That's not to say he does not remove that iron fist from that velvet glove once in a while. But as severely as he has been personally trashed on here, why wouldn't he?

Keep posting Don, individuals can still separate truth from error. At least those that are honest can!

Pollster,

The reason people go nuts on Don is
1) he's on welfare
2) he's part of the spending problem
3) he's dependent on Govt
4) his wife was Prego before they got married
5) he participates in the unaffordable healthcare system.

Most people are for personable responsibility, low taxes, and limited govt spending. The problem with you, GBA, and Don is that you are all hypocrites.

Have a good day,

they don't GO nuts...They ARE nuts
That is what is wrong with our country today. I watched C-span all day, now I suppose they will be lumped in with Fox News. Your president needs to watch what people are saying. He would probably cry like a baby. He is too egotistical to care. Big mistake.

No one goes as nuts as you, my homophobic tea party member. And again, you tea party dudes hang together, all the while pretending not to know each other personally. More BS from the old white guys of BS mountain.
As for the charming Mr. South, why shouldn't he post on here? It's an open forum. He has as much right as anyone else to post. I do like his ----Monty Python Black Knight impersonation....He wears his heart on his sleeve.

And you guys don't want to reform anything. You want to cut everything out, so please spare me the teaparty taliban lies.
I'm actually OK with Mr. South. You, Mr. Pollster, are a horse of another color,,,let's just say...a turd horse.

I am humbly grateful to those who have posted positive comments about my work on TOPIX.

Believe it or not, I am pleased for the comments of the opposition, as those comments draw attention to just who these people truly are, where they are coming from, and the "blood, sweat, & tears" that it's gonna take if our nation's "course is to prove sound and 'its' future secure."

Thanks everybody!

PRAY THAT GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS THE US of A!!

{Most people are for personable responsibility, low taxes, and limited govt spending.}

Now think for a minute about your statement I re-posted above?

Obama was reelected. And he continues to grow government, increase taxes, and is out of control concerning spending.

So your assessment of the majority of tax payers is invalid and untruthful via your own claims.

So What do some do when one brings this up? They simply go nuts!

Good evening!

President Reagan never died. He's been hanging out on an island in the South Pacific with Elvis and JFK and will be running for reelection in 2016. The reel Republican Party will rise again, Baby!

You've probably been sitting at your computer for a while now trying to come up with a rebuttal... And that's all you got?
All the republicans needed to do was nominate a decent candidate, and they couldn't.

I think you're just upset that my five points are true... All except #4. But I wouldn't be surprised if #4 is true too.

Good Evening!

I don't think any one person can "ruin" topix for another, unless that person lets them do so. Wading through idiocy gets old, but that's the nature of a place like this.

What I find troublesome is when someone is so hypocritical that they call another poster a liar when they themselves are in error. Or when a point has been made that absolutely proves someone wrong and they are not hosnest enough to admit they misspoke, or made a mistake, or just plain don't know what they are talking about. Especially if said person was rude or inconsiderate in their incorrect statement.

That is when a person loses all respect. However, I guess some will follow along blindly no matter how outrageous another's comments are.

I imagine that for some of us, continually seeing another proclaim mistruths and seldom ever back up a contention, after a while would feel the need to stand up to this individual and attempt to get an honest response. Sadly, most of these type of posters will not ever give one.

So, I guess the solution would be, if one has lost all respect for another, to simply ignore them.

IMHO.

Then maybe Don (and you) better start accepting personal responsibility for why people come to dislike you. You can state your opinion without attacking others or saying the the dirty comments to people like you do, and then expect to be liked.

It takes a nut to know one, Gramps, and in your case, the nut hasn't fell far from the tree.

Now would you mind telling us what was said on C-Span to back up your claim that he would cry if he knew what others were saying??? What program was it on C-Span, because one can get on C-Span and watch programs that were aired for the day. I want to check it out for myself. Who said what?---were they tea-partiers, or republican congress people?
