Kudos you know your grammar...your still a dips*it.Why not stay out of gun control because all you have to go on is what you read and you only read what supports your ideas.Any one with half a brain knows this will not stop the madness completely just look at Chicago.

The only massacre weapons I see are liberal mouths stirring up trouble for their next take control agenda. Do Gooders and the EPA are the banes of man.

<quoted text> We are talking about mass shootings. Why do you have have to come back with such a irrational juvenile response? You can't shoot 20 people with a revolver in a few minutes. Let's be very clear about this. Nobody is going to come into your homes and take your guns, that's just a bunch of right wing fear mongering, but I guess that's what you guys thrive on isn't it?
What makes you say you can't shoot 20 people with a revolver? They too have a high clip capacity, although not as high as an AR15. Those clips can be changed quickly and this kid had far more ammo than he could use; thus, while frequency in changing the clips may have been more, he certainly had enough firepower in his pistols to accomplish what he set out to do. The madman who killed those children shot some multiple times, far more than it took to end their lives. Simply put, your assertion that you can't kill 27 folks with a handgun doesn't hold water.

Yes, lets be clear. When Jim Brady was shot they unsuccessfully came after handguns. Now its scary looking weapons. As the one poster notes, the folks in CA thought they were safe to register their weapons but how quickly anti gun folks on the left can go back on a promise and therein lies the issue. They can't be trusted. I'm OK with background checks providing they aren't traceable and I believe everyone who owns a weapon should be property trained but all the other stuff is just window dressing. As has been noted many times, the previous ban on scary looking weapons accomplished nothing.

Thud we are primarily dealing with imbeciles that have no idea what they are talking about, they know very little of the subject matter, they are driven by fear and emotion. It is also very difficult to negotiate with individuals that will not reveal what they actually want, their end game. Their panacea is removing every gun from every person in this country.

I wish you paranoid NRA supporters would wake up. This gun control on assault weapons will prevent many killings. If we'd use your line of reasoning (like when you claim criminals will still get guns and there still will be killings), we should then just throw out all traffic laws too, because drunks and speeders will still kill people. Instead you choose to do nothing!!
Instead you contrive in your minds that you need weapons such as the AK-47 or the Bushmaster in the future to battle some imagined tyrannical government, and insist that Obama is coming for ALL your guns!
The NRA is not the same NRA that existed back when I was a kid. They cared about gun safety then, but today they are nothing more than lobbyists who serve their masters---the weapons manufacturers.
If you are outraged at Obama for his steps toward improving and enforcing existent regulations, in addition to common sense regulations to reduce gun violence, then all I can say is you just hate the President! Every step he outlined has the approval from the majority of Americans...as well as gun owners, even in the NRA.
I’m so very glad to see you have become an NRA expert. But in reality you’re just as misinformed as the rest of the Democratic and liberal crowd.
No amount of laws will prevent mass killings. And really?“Throw out traffic laws?” Thank that’s a perfect analogy.
There is Tons of traffic law, right? And how many DUI’s do they prevent? How many traffic fatalities do they prevent? There are more people killed by negligent drivers than by gun every year.
So if guns kill people do cars force people to drive drunk?

And over a million lives are taken every year by abortion and that is legal, go figure.

In 2010 there were 358 murders involving rifles. Murders involving the use of pistols in the US that same year totaled 6,009, with another 1,939 murders with the firearm type unreported. So essentially half of a percent of the murders were committed with rifles. This further insulates the argument for the Second Amendment. We need to be able to protect ourselves from these imbeciles that are so out of touch and ignorant about the issues.

You seems to be such an expert on everything, school bus crashes, morals and gun violence. Maybe you need to tone it down a bit. You are proving one thing very clearly, you know very little about a lot of things.

Somewhat chilling, but not surprising.

After all, hasn't the CIA been known to have been carrying out "black ops" for years?

I thought the following was interesting.... It may have been posted somewhere on one of these threads already, but I hadn't seen it before today.

What's not surprising is that the most corrupt Justice Dept. since Janet Remher, would find anything that Obama wanted to do wrong, or anything the right wanted to do right.
