We'll get it done. Next time we'll take up hammers and chisels and start etching Obama's face on Rushmore.

The "Law" has become a joke in this country, and the judges have become the comedians. By issuing this kind of a sentence, the "judge" has made a huge contribution to "GreenBreach". He or she has advertised that these ecoterrorists WILL NEVER receive meaningful punishment, no matter what they do. "Community Service" sentences are the comedian's "encore". These GreenBreach clowns consider violating Federal Law to be a "community service." If these criminals actually do perform "community service", it will probably be spray-painting a swastika on the Washington Monument.

whoever this judge is, he or she (probably she - it figures) should be impeached and disbarred. These people should never be allowed near Mount Rushmore or any national park, ever. They should be shot.

No one would ever confuse you for an extremist.

They should be barred from any National Park forever. They want their names in the paper more then they want to change anything. Should be called Terrorists, they are extremeists, so what's the difference! Probably because the liberal media worships them.

National parks are not hallowed ground. They are areas set aside so industry doesn't grind them up to make sandpaper. They are set aside for the people, not the government, and are capable of withstanding an occasional protest action. Protesting is a legal form of expression as long as no permanent damage is done. Greenpeace did less damage to Mt Rushmore than the average tourist leaving a soiled diaper wedged into a crack in the stone.

What a drag. No well-deserved, earned and bragged-about death-penalty. Give 'em what they want. Slip on the the nooses and kick away their chairs and put the video on YouTube for people to laugh at. It's not like anyone's going to miss these pieces of crap. Most will just call them the stupid fux they are.

Yeah, and don't forget to round up their families to cut out their tongues and burn their books!

Considering the average tourist can't get close enough to Mt. Rushmore to even touch the stone, your comparison doesn't fit. Yes, the greenpeace eco-terrorists did deface the mountain.
