Watermelon a fruit? Oklahoma declares it the state vegetable

Oklahoma already has the strawberry as its official fruit, so the state Senate cleared the way Tuesday to declare the watermelon the state vegetable.

It'll be watermelon season here in a few months.

last year the price was a bit high.$1.50 a melon.

If the price gets any higher I'll grow my own.

Watermelon is a fruit.

If it has seeds it`s concidered a fruit.

Yes, that goes for, tomatoes, and any "vegatable" that contains seeds is, in actuality, a friut.
