it is a sin to tell a lie.
In the story it reads:
"As used in this section,'public property' means any public building, facility, structure or enclosure used for a public purpose or as a place of public gathering, owned or under the control of the state or one of its political subdivisions or a religious, charitable, educational or recreational association."
Repent, are you calling the Pastor a liar?

<quoted text>I am not too trusting I know that there are bad people. But I live by the odds, even though these wild things happen and are reported on the TV the chances of being in that situation are extremely low.My father in law was a LA county sheriffs deputy ,and the only time he ever got shot at was during the watts riots in the early sixty s ,When ever we went out to a Dinner, he would sit on the backside of the wall and scan the room for possible trouble .But he never carried a gun even when he had the right to even knowing what he knew from a life of dealing with thugs. The reason is the odds of anything happening to a person minding his own business are very low.
Guess your father in-law didn't inform you he had his backup gun concealed.

Good for you, Mayor Alborn. I am sure all the employees in Village Hall appreciate this sensible move. You are protecting them, not just yourself and Council members. Now if we can prevent kids from taking guns to school, I will be even more grateful.
I see nothing resembling "Police State" to tell people to leave their guns at home when they go into a public building. It is just common sense.
Ok if your concealed weapon is no longer on your person, where is it? Easily put in the hands of thieves. How about focusing on the bad guy?

As far as I know he did not have one .Back in those days thole idea was to use calming authoritative voice and calm down the situation. Now I think there is a lot more danger out there,so who knows what he would do today. Here is another amazing thing about my father in law.He used to be a MP in the Navy and had to work in the prison as well.He had this great skill of being able to walk around without making any noise ,just all of a sudden he would be standing there (like a ninja)

oops....you're wrong...LOL

A federal magistrate judge apparently is dismissing a lawsuit filed against Ruidoso Mayor Ray Alborn, Ruidoso Police Chief Joe Magill and the village that claimed resident Tony Seno's constitutional rights were violated when he was forced to relinquish his gun before speaking to the village council from the podium in July 2011.

"A federal magistrate judge apparently is dismissing a lawsuit filed"
"apparently" being the operative word.
Let's see what the actual order says.
Judge Wormuth has to justify the dismissal. Something I don't think he can do.
We'll see.
