Yup...The better to walk all over and peel every penny I can off your back as you scrape a meager existence. The more you whine and cry because you play the "have not" the more I will whip you like a dog and pander your spouse to the lowest bidder.

I would like for the people that's talking about all the high paying jobs, people in Lincoln County will lose, if the track moves. Most of the jobs lost will be minimum wage jobs. People that work for $7.25 an hr. can work anywhere. Tell me about these high paying jobs people will lose. I can count the people on one hand that will lose a high paying job, if the track moves. "Read My Words". The race track moving is not about jobs. It is all about over priced real estate in Ruidoso.

I heard through the Race Track grapevine that Ann McGovern did not resign, she was fired. The talk is, Hubbard's grandson is going to take over McGovern's position. I also heard through the grapevine, that Gov. Richardson, may award the license from Raton to Mr R. D. Hubbard. And Hubbard would use that license to build a race track and casino at Clovis, N.M. and sell it. Does anyone know if this might be true?

You mean this guy?

Roe vs. Wade has been good to Edward Allred, but abortion is just one of his lucrative businesses...
Allred is in the black. This model of terminal efficiency belongs to Edward C. Allred, physician, champion quarter-horse breeder, and millionaire. Dr. Allred, 65, owns 25 Family Planning Associates (FPA) clinics in California and Chicago, which generate annual revenues of $70 million, according to a recent issue of Forbes.
The doctor earns buggy-loads more cash at Los Alamitos Race Course and Ruidoso Downs, horseracing venues he owns in California and New Mexico. That he could turn hefty profits in both the death and gambling industries is no surprise: Edward Allred has spent more than three decades mining gold from the darkest corners of American free enterprise-and doing so in the most efficient way possible.
Consider his abortion business: Dr. Allred founded it with Kenneth L. Wright in Los Angeles in 1969, shortly after California legalized abortion. At the time, the doctors performed all their abortions at Avalon Memorial Hospital, attracting women from surrounding states where it was still a crime to kill unborn children.
But the whole, compassion-laced hospital-doctor-patient thing apparently ran counter to Dr. Allred's assembly-line business sense. He now brags on his website that FPA's founders "immediately began to concentrate on developing simpler and less expensive abortion procedures," making FPA "the leading provider of abortion services in California."
By 1980, FPA had grown to a 12-clinic operation. That year Dr. Allred told the San Diego Union his doctors would crank out a staggering 60,000 abortions, allotting five minutes per patient-enough time to properly terminate a fetus without driving up labor and anesthesia costs: "We streamlined, we made efficiencies, we employed the suction technique better than anyone, and we eliminated needless patient-physician contact."
Such ghoulish pragmatism has its rewards:$5 million in annual profits for FPA, according to Forbes. Meanwhile, Allred the abortionist is trying to improve efficiency at his other enterprise: horseracing. Although racetracks still draw crowds of summer-suited gentlemen and genteel ladies in elegant hats and spectator pumps, the lifeblood of horseracing is gambling. Historic Churchill Downs, for example, earns 70 percent of its revenue from parimutuel betting. And although the sport of kings has been in decline since the 1960s, turning many track owners into paupers, Edward Allred isn't one of them.
At Los Alamitos, for example, the daily "handle," or total betting, has increased to $1.3 million, despite a steady five-year decline in attendance. Dr. Allred attributes the galloping cash flow to his decision to simulcast Los Alamitos races to other venues, thus enabling more gamblers to burn their money in off-track wagering. Business is also hot at Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico, where Dr. Allred and his partners turned $1 million in annual red ink into a profit by adding 300 slot machines two years ago.
That move was part of a growing push among track owners. Since 1985, annual horseracing attendance has fallen by half from 73 million. Industry insiders say the sport cannot survive without casino-style gaming at the tracks, according to a 1999 report by the National Gambling Impact Study Commission (NGISC).
But saving tracks by converting them into so-called "racinos" may represent the exploitative underbelly of capitalism: More than one in three racetrack patrons is a pathological or problem gambler, according to the NGISC.
No problem for Dr. Allred: He told Forbes that he plans to install slot machines at Los Alamitos, too.

Edward “Fast Eddie” Allred is credited by friend and foe alike as having created the “assembly-line abortion.” One supporter reported that “Allred has done for abortion what Ray Kroc did for hamburgers.” Allred owns and operates the world’s largest chain of for-profit abortion mills, killing thousands of children annually and maiming and killing an unknown number of women. Allred is also very popular in horse racing circles, as well as within abortion circles. He is very, very influential in politics, not just within the abortion establisment.
And Latinos 4 Life reports:
Dr. Edward Allred was quoted in the San Diego Union as saying,“Population control is too important to be stopped by some right wing pro-life types. Take the new influx of Hispanic immigrants. Their lack of respect for democracy and social order is frightening. I hope I can do something to stem that tide; I’d set up a clinic in Mexico for free if I could.”[The actual quote was in the Union on Oct. 12, 1980.]

News From few years ago:
McCain accepts $2,300 from notorious abortionist Edward Allred
A couple of weeks ago Ron Paul caught a lot of flack for keeping a $500 donation from a white supremacist.
But little has been said about John McCain receiving a $2,300 donation from Edward Allred, the infamous abortionist, even though McCain ostensibly is “pro-life.” As part of a roundup of major donations from Orange County residents to the major presidential candidates, The OC Weekly reported that Rudi Giuliani, who’s pro-abort, received a $2,300 donation from Allred:
Allred, as the Weekly uncovered in the late ’90s, performed abortions in his practice—and has a history of giving fistloads of cash to anti-abortion candidates. Giuliani, of course, is pro-choice, but John McCain, to whom Allred also gave $2,300, is not. Weird.
Weird, indeed.
A pro-life site reports:
So much for Republican “outreach” to Latinos. Maybe their slogan should be,“Reach out and abort someone.”

Born: Kingman, Ariz.... Residence: Long Beach, Calif.... Primary Business: Owner and medical director, Family Planning Associates, operator of small hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. Established in 1969 with partner Kenneth Wright, shortly after abortions were legalized in California. Along with clinics in Chicago, FPA evolved into the nation's largest privately held chain of abortion clinics ... Racing background: As a law student at USC, he ventured down to Los Alamitos Quarter Horse track in Orange County one day and was thoroughly taken in by the Quarter Horse races.

Racing Career: Although his focus has always been on Quarter Horses, he also has had ownership and breeding interests in Thoroughbreds, usually with partners. He's had an alliance with R.D. Hubbard through the years ... When Los Alamitos was put up for sale in 1990, Allred was able to acquire 50 per cent ownership, with help from Hubbard. With partners that owned the other 50 per cent, he finally negotiated a deal to take full ownership in 1998. Today, Allred is owner, president and CEO of Los Alamitos ... Leading North American breeder of Quarter Horses and at one time owned 400-500 head ... Mares kept at Crystal Springs and Walmac Farms in Kentucky and at Allred's 370-acre California property, Rolling A Ranch, in Atascadero.

RD Hubbards friend and business partner: Dr. Edward Allred boasted that he worked from 6 a.m. to midnight performing abortions on “planeloads” of women, trying not to spend more than five minutes with each patient. "We've been pioneers in so many ways," he once told a reporter. "We streamlined, we made efficiencies, we employed the suction technique better than anyone, and we eliminated needless patient-physician contact."

In 1980, Allred claimed to have personally aborted 250,000 fetuses during the previous 12 years. Since then, Allred said he stopped counting. That same year, Allred infuriated Hispanics when he told the San Diego Union-Tribune,“Population control is too important to be stopped by some right-wing pro-life type. Take the new influx of Hispanic immigrants. Their lack of respect for democracy and social order is frightening. I hope I can do something to stem that tide; I'd set up a clinic in Mexico for free if I could. Maybe one in Calexico would help. The survival of our society could be at stake."

In 1990, Allred acquired 50 per cent ownership of Los Alamitos, and in 1998, took full ownership. The racetrack takes in more than $1 million in bets daily. Allred owns several exclusive mansions, a fleet of expensive cars and jets, Rolling A Ranches in Nevada, and New Mexico's prestigious Ruidoso Downs racecourse, where slot-machine gambling is legal.

Found this internet search: EDWARD ALLRED

Who is the most notorious abortionist in the United States today? I think if you would ask most informed pro-life people, they would probably point to one of the late-term abortionists. They might mention Dr.“Tiller the Killer” in Wichita who kills pre-born babies as old as eight months along. Another culprit is the infamous Dr. Brian Herne in Boulder, Colorado. Or we could go to Dayton, Ohio, and the originator of the partial-birth abortions, Brian Haskell.

I wouldn’t necessarily argue as to who is the worst of these butchers, but I could propose another who is notorious for a different reason. His notoriety is not from doing late-term abortions, but from the huge number of babies that he and his allied string of abortion centers have killed over the years in California. His name is Edward Allred. He runs the nation’s largest, privately held chain of abortion chambers. His medical group, which is incorporated, I presume for tax reasons, generates $70 million a year, and from this he nets $5 million personally in profit.

What does he do with his money? Well, he owns the Los Alamitos Racecourse in Orange County, California. I’m told he’s the largest breeder and racer of quarter horses in the United States—he owns 500 of them.

I’ve mentioned what his income is from abortions – I don’t have any figures on what he makes off of gambling at his racetrack, but it must be considerable, because people can now call in bets to his race track by telephone; and he, accordingly, provides some of the only late-night gambling on horse racing to millions of homes out there.

He’s a well known, aggressive racist. In the past, he has pointed with pride to the fact that his killing centers are located in areas which have large minority populations. This is particularly true in areas settled by Hispanic immigrants from south of the border—Mexico, Honduras, etc. He has made no bones about saying that he wants to kill as many unborn Hispanics as possible. You see, he has publicly said that, in his judgment, that there are too many Hispanics in California.

This guy is certainly bad news, and no one has been able to stop his activities in the last several decades. So, as a rather dubious nomination, I would extend his name out to anyone’s consideration as to who is the most notorious baby-killer in America.
