Yes, you are right. SB waste water treatment plant. Still, the fact remains that our bills were raised specifically for the purpose of building this new plant, not to purchase software for the Village Manager to make her job easier. How does she propose to replace the $325,000.00? Will we see even higher rates rather than seeing our bills decrease overtime as we were told?

This politically correct bull excrement is assailing my sensibilities. Stop acting like we are protecting the children here! I don’t recall reading anything that resembled an attack on this child. I am not aware of a law against referring to a person’s color as being black or white. If it was revealed that this was “white trash”, the post would not have been removed and there would have been NO outrage over such comments! The PC police are at it again. Get your politically-correct, frightened heads out of the sand people!
The reality is that most children raised in single-parent households are going to have challenges in this world no matter what the race or mix of races. Sadly the phenomenon is rampant in our society today thanks to the ‘politically correct’ removal of all absolute moral standards. The fact that the sperm donor is black is not noteworthy as mixed marriages and “hook-ups”, are an every day occurrence. While this girl’s choice in men may have been unwise, the fact that he is African-American has nothing to do with it – whatever his race he would have been a poor choice. Let me remind you that there are many extraordinary men and women who happen to be black; Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Star Parker and Alan Keyes to name just a few and most would consider it a privilege to be in the company of such intelligent, moral and accomplished persons.
The bottom line is that it is never good practice, moral or necessary to attack someone personally. It is understandable, given the circumstances, that you do not like or respect the current village manager, however, this commentary is really inappropriate. We would all be better served to keep a closer eye on our own backyards. Not one of us is perfect and the unfortunately truth is that every family is dysfunctional to some degree whether we recognize it or not. It would better serve your cause to stick with the facts. There are genuine problems to be voiced and legitimate arguments to be made. If you have nothing constructive to bring to the table, butt out please.
The Lord loves all of his people, even those in rebellion. We are instructed to pray for our enemies, to love our neighbor and make peace with every man if it is possible. We must also have the courage to stand against evil and wrongdoing. So continue in your efforts to reveal the truth - stick with the facts, and work within the law to seek justice and to right the wrongs that are daily being perpetrated on you, your co-workers and this Village.
Well said! Someone we all know once said, "We should judge a man, not by the color of his skin but the content of his character." Horce Greenly said:
"Fame is a vapor, popularity an accident, riches take wings. Only one thing endures--character."

But you are also correct in saying Debi Lee may have already gone to far. Most of us who have watched her decisions and activities over the last year are certain she has. But lets not forget the mayor and council that have chosen to allow her to get away with it all. Why aren't the resident voters being more voice full? Are these people that you voted in really so dense that they can't see what is going on?
The biggest problem that I see is that the mayor and some council members will shut down any one who dares raise a question. Is this the local white house extension? It certainly appears to be!

After reading the Indiana Gaming Comissions hearing regarding Hubbard, and his corporations Pinnacle and Belterra, I see a lot of similarites between Hubard and Debi Lee.

Hubard liked to throw his weight around and intimidate the emloyees, "You either do what I say or you'r fired", whether it was legal or not.

Was Debi Lee one of the invitees that Hubbard flew in for the golf tournament? Did Debi Lee serve her internship "UNDER" Hubbard?
Was Stoddard standing by watching quietly? or was he mentoring her?

Does anyone know how many "Special Guests" Hubbard flew in while he was obtaining airport fuel at the expense of the Ruidoso Taxpayer?

I don't care as much about him pimping whores from out of town as I do him pimping our elected officials. At this point it looks like the guys we voted into office are the one's who bent over for Hubbard and the ladies kept their upright posture, dignity and honesty.

SOMEONE doesn't like your observations,Looking In.

Guess you may have pushed some truthful buttons

somewhere. All of these people are connected in some

way or another. Observer has been right all along.

Stoddard and the previous and current mayor all have

had an agenda. One issue is MOST likely the

racino. These so called conservatives in town will

probably have a good deal to answer to St. Peter

I still wonder about the $325,000 that is being removed from the water fund in order to pay for Ms. Lee's new software. When we were hit with the big water bills it was said that it was to finance the much delayed water treatment plant and that our bills would eventually go down although I've always doubted that. However, nothing was ever mentioned whereby these funds could be plundered in order to make the village manager's job easier. Ms. Lee says that she can rationalize the pilfering by claiming that it's for the costs of utility billing. Pretty high costs for sending out water bills, especially if we have to replenish the missing $325,000.00. When the coffers are raided for purposes other than what was intended, how is that allowable and will our water bills go up even higher now to compensate?
I, for one, am very concerned about this.
How is it that the $325000 figure is the same figure as the amount council got pressured into approving for MANUALS for the wastewater plant? The $$$ that Stoddard approved after giving his usual two bit shuffle about" I don't like this but........." Where did that money go and through whose pockets???? You can bet some of it went into good ole EL PAY's pockets? ie lonnie boy. Poor ms lee really does not have a clue ....she is a pawn. The sooner she gets herself out of this trap, the more chance she has of EVER getting a job in NM again. Her friends in high places have already thrown her under the bus. But then, what to do with cowboy Bill? He is waiting with glee to step back in the "temporary position"....with a pay raise, of course. And one thing you know for certain is that cowboy Bill knows how to take instruction and knows who to take it from.

The council went for the transfer of funds and the expenditure of money for D. Lee's software much like sheeples. Of course the council and mayor also shrugged off any criticism regarding the hiring of the unqualified, poorly educated Ms. Lee as well as the problems at VOR. I wonder what they're thinking now with all the ongoing investigations, criminal charges, lawyering up and the dirty laundry that's being aired in public.

They are scurrying like scared rats to try and figure out how they can cover all of this up.
What they don't seem to grasp, is that they now are all looking bad because none of them have spoken out against any of it.
If recall or impeachment can't be acquired in New Mexico, will the citizens of the Village have to wait until after the elections to contact an honest, credible person in the attorney generals office to investigate them all? Just because they
don't receive the same pay as those of the City of Bell California, it doesn't mean that somehow there is no self gain for SOMEONE! Just like councilman Salas being generous and helpful in having the Mexican Consulate in town AGAIN to "up date" the ID cards of "legal Citizens". What they haven't told you is those cards are required to get a drivers license. Also provide a child dual citizenship until age 18, born here ,illegal parents.

Every one should have a copy of the "New" Organizational Chart Debi Lee put out.

It's comical to see that on the top it shows Mayor, Council, RESIDENTS, then Debi Lee.In chain of command order. So if the RESIDENTS are third in line, why isn't any resident allowed to address Debi Lee at any time for any subject?
Is this why DL did not want Mr. Gibson elected? She did not want HIM to micromanage Her!
So now she is exactly where she wants to be, and the other unsavory characters on the council have wanted it to happen. The good ol' boy politics is alive and well in Ruidoso.
The insurance premiums will go up, she is cutting back personnel, more employees are filing law suits, and she still gets her $95,000.00 plus.
Nancy Klingman who is the alleged Financial genuis
now has 3 full time people to help her, 2 temps, and she will also have the grants and contracts person under her. BTW did the Mayor research and locate the ordinance where he could correct MS. Klingmans statement that the tax money did not HAVE to go to the airport any longer? And she earns $85,000.00 plus!

Why aren't the residents listed first? Are they not these
"Supreme Idiots" boses? Are these idiots not being paid by the residents hard earned money?

But then as you all know Stoddard will be at the track on Sunday signing up all the illegals so they can vote to tax you folks again. Is this not conflict of Interest?
I sure hope that all these people are being investigated.

God Bless all you Ruidosans, because these people are pure evil!!!

The chart shows the residents as supposedly who DL reports to. But the Mayor says no. Either she made a huge error in printing the truth,(the resident taxpayers are her bosses) or she is so confused in spinning her evil web it may have been a Freudian slip in print.
Probably Rifle Salas will also be there to make sure he explains how to vote when it's time to vote!
Maybe we need Jerry Brown to investigate all of these people involved.

Well,I would like to the record straight!
Requested- Ms. Lee's education records
Denied- by Ms. Lee per her attorney's advice
Requested- Evaluation process to start and be completed before Ms. Lee's contract renewal.
Denied- by Mayor Alborn
Requested- Information regarding the allegations stated on the blogs regarding the possible secret downloading of an employee's personal cell phone by village management.
Denied- by Mayor Alborn
This information was requested while I was still a village councilor.
I missed that post. OMG, the same thing happened in Capitan, a trustee that was voted in to represent them is being sued because he looked in an employee's file and Shirley had illegally filed his medical records in with his employee file. The Mayor told several people that he had encouraged the employee to sue the trustee. That's is what happens if you have an honest trustee that tries to get to the truth. How come the mayor didn't encourage to employee to sue the person that misfiled the medical records?

What happens if hourly employees get into an accident trying to get to work on time when the roads are snowy and icy because they can't afford to have their paychecks docked? Sounds like it could become a safety issue to me, especially in our neck of the woods.
If an hourly employee gets into an accident trying to get to work on time then the Village is responsible for it. Village Hall is able to have a 2 hour delay while all of the laborers "minions" HAVE to be at work ON TIME. I believe that unless it is an emergency, it is not worth the risk to an employees' well being to make them arrive at work just to sit around for hours because the inclement weather prevents anyone from being able to do their jobs.

The resident voters are not being more voice full against DL because this is Ruidoso and nothing ever gets done here if it benefits anyone but the "bigwigs". The Village employees have been threatened with their jobs if they speak out against DL. They are also threatened that it will be found out if they do speak out anonomously. Look at how the voting for the GRT bill is being done. Encouraging non-residents to register to vote and doing a mail-in ballot so that it is easier to "fix". This is how things are done here in Ruidoso, all UNDER THE TABLE.

Just remember, they couldn't have taken it to a special privately funded mail in election if it wasn't for Battin, Parks and Williams. Those three men made it possible.

If I remember right when Williams was a Village Councilor, he made a statement that if you don't make enough money to live in Ruidoso, then get out. Have you ever seen a Village employee's paycheck not meaning Village Hall, directors, or supervisor's? They don't make enough to even afford to rent a trailer for their families. Some are even embarrassed to say that they work for the Village of Ruidoso.

Williams is STILL on the Council...another 2 years. His presence is so inconsequential that he is not even noticed but his vote comes at a price and he is well paid. His biggest score was obviously his vote for the GRT special election as a county commissioner(his last chance to poke a sharp stick in the eye of his constituents) Wonder what color the new corvette is???
DO you think he may be a fraud, an opportunist, an elitist?
Don't expect things to change at City Hall as long as people like Williams are councilors.
Seems this council does not understand how employees can make or break a business(and city government IS a business). Funny thing is that one of these councilors had been an employee of VOR for many years...he knows the politics, the system, the unfair pay scale, and knows it is about who sucks up to who. Yet, he is not sticking up for the employees that voted him in?? What's up with that? He now has the power to make the changes and yet he just sits there and quotes scripture??????? Has he been dazzled by Little Jimmie and his gang? Maybe he is afraid of the "angel's venom?
Yes, the employees, not the upper level cowboys and cowgirls, work for cheap and several of them need the insurance for their families . They deserve the respect of council, not judgement of.

We have been told by Parks and Rec employees that when Rifle Salas was director he wouldn't even order safety equipment for the employees even if it was free. His brother Carlos is the director of the Water Department and those employees have lost their morale and struggle to get the parts they need to do their jobs.
