The wrestling coach was fired after he asked how the foitball team afforded a 4k dinner at IMG.
Still no one is talking. Why should such an expense have such secrecy surtounding it? Who paid for it?

Hey buddy, you know the rules. If you live in Ruidoso do not ask questions, especially if they make sense.

If, and only if it can be proved (simple enough to get a receipt) that Johnson did spend $4k for a pregame meal for the "football" team, then he needs to go.....period. If the "super" doesn't do it, then the "super" needs to go as well.

How ignorant is this communtiy for thinking in the first place that a meal was even $4000...do the math...50 people at $4000 would equal $80.00 a person...I knew that the Inn was having a hard time (lack of snow and economy) but didn't realize they were now charging $80.00 a person for the buffet. Before you go on your rants get your facts. Call the Inn or call Central Office check it out or maybe sign up for a math class at ENMU-R.

ur probably right, but I didn't see in the article that there was 50 in attendance nor did I read that they were served in the "cheaper" buffet.....hmmmmmm..$4k does sound expensive.....further investigation required........

Cacacheco is a whiney blowhard. Acts like a tough guy stirring up pookie over nothing since the meal was donated and gets smacked down, as he should. Hes blowing a whistle allright, like a cheap hooker with too much makeup.

Donated? By who? Hiw much?
i beg of people in this community not to donate to foitball programs or phony non profits (fancy rides do not a non profit make). We have tok many in this community who are starving and food insecure. Even if this was fonated, it was misappropriated. Another theme i hear over and over again.

Follow the money.

Either using public funds or donated;violated NM Athletic Assoc rules. There is an investigation of athletic director already underway. Pacheco had been coaching several weeks in the new season when RHS decided his services weren't needed- three days after he confronted the director.

the wrestling program is in a better place now. as far as the football meal that the school did not pay for let the kids eat. every team can do fund raisers to support the team. do no agree on the stand the school puts on sack lunches the kids have to take on week day travel. if pacheco is such a good coach why cant you find anything out about him in the internet. guess he is just a ghost and is making himself a coach. be careful if you do business with him he will try and cheat you. use a watchful eye.

Lies. Lies. Lies.
In this town, no one is allowed to say squat about the football team.

I think all the sports teams should do fundraisers for the football team. Those guys are hungry. And football is the only sport anyone really cares about anyway. I mean soccer? volleyball? track?... Really? Come on Man!

all sports need support. these programs keep the kids off the streets and for the most part out of the drugs. with the money that is out there for the schools there is not enough to support the programs the way you would want your child supported. any one who can should help if they can. remember it is all for the kids!

The sports programs only affect a small percentage of the kids. The ones that need it the most are the ones that do not have the skill, support from home or the funds to participate. There are many more programs in the area that work to keep the kids off of drugs and the streets at a far more cost effectiveness. Sports are important, but not the way to reach the most number of kids.
