Morris Arrested on Child Porn Charges

A Greene county man has been arrested after investigators say they found child pornography on his computer.

I think he has a brother doing just that for molestation. He was 18 and seeing a 16-year-old or something of that nature.

I know his brother (the one in jail) on a very personal level, and he did not moleste anyone. He got punished for little, immature girls who were being inquisitive. Dont judge him when you dont know anything about the situation.

I know this family on a very personal level and I know that he would not do such a thing. He is happily married with children of his own. If you knew his back ground and what he does you would know how this possibly happened! Grow up and quit judging before you know the actual facts and the family... IT IS MY FAMILY!

Your loyalty to family is admirable. But you've got to ask yourself -- How did the child porn get on his computer and how did the police know to look for it? I have no idea how this would happen without him viewing it (or someone else using his computer?) and how the police would be tipped off that it was there without something else going on.

Maybe you feel that this is none of our business, but when the public (or your neighbors) hear about this kind of thing, there are questions that will come up and discussions like this online post. If he is innocent, the truth will set him free.

sadly, Disillusioned, the truth will never set him free in a case like this, even if he's innocent. Being arrested for a crime of sexual nature is enough to put him on the sex crime registry, even for just a short while, and once on that registry, even if he's removed, his options are severely limited. He'll never be able to work with kids again, in public settings or even through his church. He'll be branded for life, regardless of whether he is acquitted or not.

He is a stay at home father and he knows technology very well and since he was a teen has always worked on others computers. When they have issues that require the hard drive to be wiped clean he takes EVERYTHING from their computer and copies it to his, fixes the computer and then puts it back. The real story is not out quite yet. The files that they found were deleted files. They then question him and lie about what they found to him trying to get him to admit it! They just dont understand that with what he knows about computers if he didnt want them to find things that he knew were there, he would make it that way.

If he is found not guilty on a technicality would you feel comfortable with him watching your children? Pray about that before you answer!!

I am sorry for you that it is your family. Do you think the parents of any serial killer, rapist, or child molester ever in a million years thought their child would become a monster? So do not sit there and tell everyone how well you know him and he would not do this. No one and I mean no one knows what is going on in someone elses mind. So know matter how well you think he was raised and what an upstanding person he is just look up how many level headed regular joes have turned out to be some of the most infamous monsters in the world.

I never said he shouldn't. I said it's a sad fact that regardless of what verdict is reached, guilty or innocent, he won't be allowed to because of how unfair our system of government is. I'm pretty sure my writing is clear- reread if you need to.
